This is a very common statement from them, I think it'll be better for them to be honest if they can't make it rather than telling a lie to their customers.

Even GDEX was quite similar, GDEX was supposed to come pick up a parcel for delivery from my place, they said the pickup truck will come by 6pm, it was near 7pm and the truck is no where to be seen. I gave a call to their customer service and they told me that the truck was caught in a jam in KL and will be coming soon. So I waited until 9pm and still no truck came. As it was pass 7pm, their customer service cannot be reached anymore as their phone lines will be turned off after 7pm.

So the next morning, GDEX called me and asked if any truck came to collect the parcel for delivery, I told them no and they apologized. They said that the driver wasn't sure if my office is still open at that time and so he did not come to collect. So when the driver came to collect it, I asked him why he did not come yesterday and he told me that there was a bad traffic jam near my place and so he did not want to come in to my area. When I heard this I was quite furious deep inside me, why tell a lie?

I think it would be better if they:
1) Called me to tell me that the driver can't make it, don't keep me waiting without any news.
2) Be honest, if you don't want to come then just tell the truth. It was an urgent parcel to send out that's why I waited until that late but got disappointed in the end.

This is why I usually try to avoid Skynet, this is a common problem/excuse, I guess they are just gambling that nobody around since most of the time, many people are not at home during working hours.
