Natural gas in storage is now at 3,392 billion cubic feet up 69 billion cubic feet and the peak capacity is around 3,889 billion cubic feet. If this keeps up, the storage should fill up within 7 weeks sans any natural disasters.

Funnily enough, UNG has moved up 3.78% today. Something must be wrong here... hmm.gif

There's a long list of high-profile stocks--particularly financial names like AIG  ( AIG -  news  -  people ), Fannie Mae  ( FNM -  news  -  people ) and Freddie Mac  ( FRE -  news  -  people )--that people missed the boat on, but compounding that mistake can make things even worse. "Just because you missed buying Citigroup  ( C -  news  -  people ) at a buck a share doesn't mean you can't still have upside getting in at $5 a share," Ross offers as one example.
Hats off to those who bout them under the dollar.

Maybe in the next run up we'll see C hitting USD10. biggrin.gif

A lot of speculators are playing Natural Gas here.. could be quite dangerous to play but when it near the top, be sure you're the first to leave the exit door when it burst open. biggrin.gif

Tonight, S&P is nearing the top again at 1040 and Dow want to re-test 9600.

I'm ready to buy some ERY and DRV for swing trade. biggrin.gif

Financials aren't moving with the market tonight. sad.gif

Update 4:21am:

Wow! We broke new resistance line, with DJ closed above 9600 and S&P above 1040.

I was wrong. Financials did move after all. I was too busy watching ERX/ERY, and missed the move for FAS. sad.gif
BAC moved up pretty quickly once it was down to 16.70 (I missed this too!) doh.gif

I've bought some ERY at around 15.25 for swing trade. biggrin.gif

I think day traders probably got tired of these two twins: FRE/FNM. biggrin.gif

I agree!! The roller coaster in US is more fun! thumbup.gif

But, one must also make sure they don't have faint of heart. brows.gif

Tonight, going to cash out DRN since it has gone up so much.
Might go short again if the worm turns south. biggrin.gif

Can you describe the feeling of roller coaster more in details?

The price range it fluctuates?

Let say on the scale of 1 to 10.. if you're at 1 on day 1, it can go to 10 in 10 trading sessions for normal stock.

Now, take that and say if you play with the UltraPro leverage 2x fund. That means double the volatility. laugh.gif

Now, take that again and if you're brave (or silly) like me, play with 3x fund, that triple the volatility. sweat.gif

Well, depend on which stocks that you selected.
For example: AIG from USD12 (early Aug) to peak USD55 (end of Aug).
Citi from USD1 (March 2008) to USD 5 in 6 months time. and there are many stocks has gone up at least 500%.
You can check it out on finance.yahoo.
Somemore if you trade options, one day can up 200%. And the most important was VOLUME.
NYSE is the biggest stock exchange in the world. So you can expect volatility is very high.

Everyone here would agreed with me that trading in US was exciting biggrin.gif

I have only Rm10k, what are the stocks i can go for? I don't mind holding as long as it grows. My maximum holding would be 2 years.

Any suggestion?

For that amount to be truly diversified and long, better go for the safer Index fund like SPY and VTI (the one that Dreamer has suggested last time).

I'm longing C myself. I'm hoping it can recover back to USD30 in 3-5 years time.
It's a long shot but anything can happen in a few years time. smile.gif

Debbie, you can go for ETF but don't touch the 2x or 3x like Direxion and powershares.

Use simple ETF (which against a basket of selected companies)
