debbiesys - what brokerage are you using for KLSE stocks? Some of them allow you to trade NYSE stocks too.
*
Hong Leong. I know Hong Leong allows us to trade NYSE
Just curious to know only
Initially I thought we in Malaysia have to get brokerage in US to trade US stocks tongue.gif

zaman, one thing i'm still blur.
Bursa has recently changed the transaction price according to how much you are buying, something like that, which I personally think that it's quite unfair to those who can purchase more.

nope. I rate them 2/5. Hard to use. Good for forex though!

Too complicated.

Bonus point :

- allow day trade, no restriction
- 4.95 flat per trade
- fast execution of trade
- able to see market depth (buy/sell q) : http://i31.tinypic.com/14boppc.png
- multiple execution type Limit+TTO, Trailing, market, time trigger, day trigger, LOC, MOO

wow, that is new. In fact, I hardly follow KLSE now. Noticed that I'm not longer in the thread? Boring.
Imagine LCL move +0.005 today, the next day unchanged, then down 0.01, then up 0.005.. and so on. Nothing. Index up by 25 points and most of my crappy shares not moving.

Come and hve a visit in NYSE. Trade ETF (index style) either LONG or SHORT.. semua bole smile.gif

Haha. The stocks here swing so much, it'll knock the socks off most of the shares listed on KLSE. brows.gif

look at MGM, VG, LVS.

KLSE is boring since the introduction of FMB30. Previously is much better.

Yes, for those brave souls.. they can certainly make a bet on LVS! Better than playing the actual casinos at LVS itself. biggrin.gif

Anyway, tonight the market is at the cross road. Not sure if want to continue to rally or go down from here.
The news are all good. It feels like going up but bulls also scare of over eating at this level.

a short stop/rest shall be good, as the bulls can rest a while, refresh n renergize 'emself before the long journey ahead.

Psst - Even a taxi driver in NYC think the market is bullish. (what an utterly rubbish that is)

I guess if people only look at from from March lows to today.. then heck yeah.. we're bullish. Already up 45%.
But, don't forget, market still down 32% from the high in 08. Since US jobless going to hit 10% by the end of this year, this is going to be long recovery for them.

Despite DJ and S&P closed higher for this week, Oil suddenly drops back below $70 today with more than 3% loss.

But, ERX remains at year around high.. ERY beaten down to 52 weeks low.
Sometime is happening.... I think we may be turning around here.

We shall see next week where this takes us. biggrin.gif

Usually you can scan the form with your signatures and then mail it back to them for processing.
This applied to optionsxpress. Not sure does it apply to mbtrading as well.

I have just registered for my OptionsExpress, Fristrade and Zorro.
IMO, I think most people have two concerns:

1) The money is secure.
2) The commission is low.
3) The tools are great.

Going by priority, only when (1) is fulfilled then only we consider (2) and (3).
