Wah you guys really active in the US market, In and Out.....

Me more of Buy and keep and once hit the target will chop off, something like Uncle style but me not an Uncle yet.

Anyway just to share my holdings:

BAC, XLF, TBSI and SBLK

All giving positive returns except SBLK.

Now keeping any eye on LYG...any comment or Red flags?
*
Hey Rook,

Looks like you're long. The only ones I like in your holdings are BAC and XLF.

But, how come they're like this:
BAC = financials
TBSI = financials
XLF = financial ETF
SBLK = shipping/transportation

Whoa! I think you're way overweight in financials... biggrin.gif

If you buy XLF, don't buy BAC or TBSI because they are already covered by XLF.
Same goes for LYG..(financials again).

Remember to diversify.. laugh.gif

Most company here price stable. So cannot appreciate higher already. What about PCS?

If the merger between PCS and Leap goes through then maybe the share prices will see some improvements but it remains to be seen if they can continue to increase their prepaid customer base since everyone else wants a slice of the growing prepaid pie. But the talk of both of them merging isn't new, its been around since 2007.

Check these articles out:

Leap Wireless' Awkward Landing
MetroPCS offers to buy Leap Wireless
Questions raised anew on whether Leap, MetroPCS should merge

But that's my worthless RM0.02. laugh.gif

Thanks for the good piece of advise.

Financials and Shipping co's cause these are two sectors battered to rock bottom prices.
Kind of risky but there is no economy without financials isn't it.

Actually TBSI is also another shipping co.

3-5years down the road hopefully with of course lots of luck too, we might have lots lots of $$$ in the bank!

Cadbury LSE stock went up 40%.. Wondering if the same can happen for CBY nasdaq.. The plan to take over by Kraft & hersey is for UK based cadbury but wat happens for the US based stocks.. Just need some expert opinion.. even the offer price is much lower then the US stock as it's for the LSE stock..

Hi folks, this is my first posting after observing and reading all your very engaging analysis and reports.
I have just sent my application to Ameritrade and awaiting their approval. Sheesh the post itself via poslaju was Rm78/ rclxub.gif

Anyways, I was just wondering whether you guys happen to read a teeny weeny little inconspicous article in the business section the Star where the UN has called for a stop to using the USD as international trade currency. blink.gif
Best part of it is other than these countries, Russia, Brazil, India, etcc... CHINA was one of them!!! hmm.gif
This is very surprising since these guys are the BIGGEST USD BOND HOLDERS! Won't this move cripple the Chinese economy??
And would it be prudent to pull out now, if this ever happened? Just imagine the USD rate if this took place? Wonder if the USD dropped from this announcement?

Anyone?

USD already dropped while you post that, simply because US economy is undergo W shape recovery.

Bad new on CITI © but pre-market suggest otherwise. I thought only in KLSE people gamble, NYSE/DJIA also the same.

News on c : Citigroup doesn't have a TARP exit strategy and yet the share up 2.5% to 4.98 (off high of 5.05)

They have been saying for YEARS!!! Yet, there isn't any replacement for USD yet.

Do you want to use Russian Rubbles, India Rupeees and even China Renminbi? Certainly not themselves.
Perhaps if ONLY the Chinese would allow Renminbi to be traded, they can do it.. but heck they themselves have a policy of not allowing currency to be traded outside China. They are hypocrites and Singaporean call them talk cock only.

Just continue to hold: USD, YEN, EURO, UK currency.

In bull commodity run, I'll be buying some Canadian Dollars! biggrin.gif

C is holding at 5.00
Bulls everywhere, as if the economy had recovered and people start throwing parties everywhere.

Looks like after 5 minutes the volume exceed KLSE daily volume.

Vol: 791,033,000 KLSE
344,954,000 NYSE in 7 minutes
