Big News for Tech Stocks - Oracle (ORCL) Buying Sun Microsystems (JAVA).

Sun Microsystems popped up 35%.  rclxms.gif

Rumor is, IBM failed to buy Sun earlier may re-offer higher price.  smile.gif

But seem too late to buy now.
Should keep this SUN stock in view. monitor the call volume. See whether got any insider trading or not.
Miss a big boat.
Last Friday lowest for JAVA 8 May Call=19cents. And today pop up to USD1.10. Thats almost 6X drool.gif

As usual, not surprised if we had another round of bad news for market to crash again, hopefully to make a 'successful test of the lows'
Becareful of going long in U.S. stocks. After all we are in a bear market right.
The market had rallied up so much for the past weeks. Not worth to buy call options now. Might consider to buy some put options smile.gif

The good ones for long (more than 1 year), it is ok to enter at this range.
It is difficult to bottom fish price, best way is to buy some position on the way. smile.gif

You can refer to this link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SogoInvest

So far from the descriptions provided, it quite reliable and insured by SPIC as well.
As rule of thumb, do your own analysis before decide to open with them.

Exactly. Take the money and run!! tongue.gif

Man.. I have to do a bit of covering due to financial reversal this morning.. sad.gif
(but still in positive territory for me).

The bulls are being let out of their cage, Tim Geithner won't let them fail.

What stocks drop 50% after market? blink.gif
Perhaps Bursa stocks..not the ones in NYSE. DJ, NAS and S&P all up. biggrin.gif

For the record, AMZN is truly amazing... this is one Internet retailer that you can BUY and
forget even in this recession time. Gosh.. wish I have bought more..couple of months ago sad.gif

Last Sunday nite 2/5/09 filled in optionXpress online application form, but wanted to change my name (as I used initials) so live chat with optionXpress people on Monday nite (2/5/09), they are really helpful and was informed that I can scan the printed application forms and email them the forms. Email them on Tuesday 5/5/09 attaching the required forms duly signed along with my IC in pdf format. This morning, checked my email and was informed that I can start trading (of course I need to transfer funds first). Just 3 days to get application approved.

Must say the Live Chat thingy is really great as I get immediate response to my queries.

I'll be going to US in August to open a bank account and I guess that will ease transfer of funds via online with them later.

Glad to hear it... Account open within 3 days.

Is it a must to open an account in US, or can bank in money into their account from Malaysia?

Personally there will still have plenty legs for bull run. This is just the beginning.
I would say buy on dips whenever it retrace.
Check for TA and watch out for fundamental data from US. Monitor the US progress. cool2.gif

I'm also trying to bank in $ to them. Maybe we need to e-mail them this slip together with our account number.

Should it be like this?
