wahh. i got same proc like u. but max i can oc is 2.85ghz. cant raise more than that. running 2.8ghz now stable. btw, can i get 3.0ghz like u using kingston cl4 ddr2 533 ?

I saw somewhere else that G2 has its memory controller tweaked.

isn't that 250x4=1000
so still safe for most board..
unless we are doing 300 must use 3x htt mul..

from my experience most off the time need to reset jumper becoz of ram oc attempt..
if cpu settings not right the bios can reset back..

that's apply on ta690g stable bios...

If I use 8.5x multi, Proc at 3.4GHz and DDR2 around 1150MHz the Super PI 1M took around 32s to finished!!!
If using 9.0x multi, Proc@3GHz and DDR2 around 1000MHz the Super PI just need 30s to finish!

Look like all x.5x multi got bugs with our F3

When use X.5x multi, the proc speed and power consumption everything just shown normal but processing power drop!

i overclock to 3.02Ghz at 232FSB, 13 cpu multiplier and X5 HT
i cannot go more den tat stable.... why ar??
btw my bios dun have option for me to change HT multiplier and ram timings

i only can change my HT using n-tune
why i cant change using bios one

Gasak with those 200/400 sand paper till yr IHS bocor then slowely using fine grade lor....should be able to see the core.
The IHS still attach...the only one F3 in the world maybe

CTRL + F1 @ the bios.
Hidden settings will be shown
