the new batch should reach our shore already.

some of the sellers in this forum are selling them.

to be safe, try have a look at the card before you pay the money.
make sure the fan size is bigger than the first batch. wink.gif

Hey, am having the gigabyte 8800gt turboforce. Everything is cool but i cant seem to control the fan speed. I've tried adjusting it with rivatuner and ntune but neither seem to work, as i dont detect any increase in noise from the fan or a reduction in temps. Can anyone confirm if this is true and just how do I control the fan?

Were u referring to this ? :

QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jan 23 2008, 05:01 PM)
dont need to get out of game to look for temps.....u can set rivatuner to show whatever parameters u want on an OSD in-game.  By using this way, i no longer need to log the temps to file bcoz i can see real time.

Heres how to do it, step by step :

Here is the pictar :

asus 8800gt top DO HAVE a temperature sensor, but it ONLY can be read using the included ASUS program.

Try check the bundled CD

I have been googling around and I found this:

http://www.yougamers.com/forum/showthread.php?p=807940

It said that I need the latest Smart Doctor (version 5804, i believe), but when I went to Asus Website, the latest that they offer is 4.76, which far older..

Anybody has the latest SmartDoc ?

I just wonder, why cant they just use conventional thermal monitoring ? Damn Asus !!

EDITED: Found it, have to download it here: http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/vga/app/SmartDoc5084.zip

Idle temperature is 57 degree C.. OMG, it`s freaking HOTT !!
