who cares about the default clockspeed.
just use the rivatuner to oc it will do the same job. tips: try to get those with samsung memory. it's much more ocable than the stupid qimonda. |

QUOTE(alexandros_18th @ Jan 22 2008, 11:21 PM) it seems that gigabyte card can't use rivatuner to set the fan speed. That's what ppl talked before and I also didnt notice any changes from the fan speed ingame. oops, i forgot your 8800gt is using old zalman vf700 cooler. that means the cooler is definitely insufficient for oc. |

QUOTE(Fjive @ Jan 23 2008, 10:52 PM) Is it alright to get the stock cooler 8800gt ? how is gigabyte and asus ? the new batch should reach our shore already.Anyone knows if the new stock cooler arrive in LY ? some of the sellers in this forum are selling them. to be safe, try have a look at the card before you pay the money. make sure the fan size is bigger than the first batch. QUOTE(jiahuilee @ Feb 6 2008, 02:59 PM) haha selling eggs? good idea.. 80C is not dangerous for gc.anyway i realize my gc is also running at a kinda dangerous temp. During load its 80C ++ and there was once..., when i was playing FIFA08, the graphics suddenly gone mad with red colour on the green pitch... wonder if its because of the temperature. it's able to run even at 100C. |

QUOTE(uberific @ Apr 11 2008, 09:49 AM) the shop guy recommend me MSI 8800gt 512mb Zalman fan ...at rm865 is that reasonable price or can it go lower? that's sweet.the zalman heatsink is retailed rm200 in the market. 8800GT (RM665) + zalman heatsink (RM200) = RM865 palit is my 2nd choice. cheap + better cooler.
