QUOTE(pirateguy @ Dec 17 2007, 09:55 PM)
Im in a dilemma over 8800gt.

If I do a lot of gaming at 1680x1050 res, 256MB is not enough? I heard performance at that resolution can be up to 50% improve if using 512MB version.

Any thoughts?

Agreed. If you're really serious in gaming, better get the 512MB icon_rolleyes.gif

Yup. Having a GT would be a luxury already. Most of the people around the globe still stuck with low and mid range. Should be glad if can get a GT and play with high settings with all the eye candy. icon_rolleyes.gif

but its consider value for money. I think its under top mid range class because its price hehe. Above 1K only consider high-end.

Are there any other cooling solution for 8800gt?
(Except Thermalright HR03-GT, which is not yet available in Malaysia)

I use 22" widescreen monitor, so I almost always set resolution to 1680x1050.

I don't really overclock my ASUS TOP because my computer is bottlenecked by my RAM and processor.

Guess that my Pentium 4 has to retire soon.
Hahaha
