However, the honour one is graduating with does not depend on CGPA but HGPA. HGPA does not include first year subjects. HGPA only include certain amount of Psychology subjects from second and third year plus third year thesis 1 and thesis 2.

Have you graduated?

Btw, thank you for the tips smile.gif
Ya, true^^

Yes, I have graduated just this year. Yes, HGPA is important because it's on your cert but when you aim for a high CGPA, you'd automatically get a high HGPA too. You can get a high HGPA but if your CGPA sucks, it makes not much difference because you would have to have your CGPA written in the resume. Both are important. =D

OMG.... CGPA but not HGPA will be written on resume?

So, does it mean you can get 1st class honour with high HGPA and yet a low CGPA? Is CGPA accumulative? Or it is counted for every year?

Thank you smile.gif

Yes, when you attend career guidance 3, you are supposed to prepare a resume and when you see samples, people write their CGPA on the resume. When you attend the career fair in HELP, companies want to know your CGPA, not HGPA.

You see, HGPA only takes (if I'm not mistaken) 5 of your second year psychology subjects and 5 of your third year psychology subjects plus your thesis 1 and 2. But you have more subjects than that per year. If for instance you score A for 5 psych subjects in second and 5 in third year, you will get at least a second upper (HGPA). But what if your other subjects you scored C? It'll seriously pull down your CGPA. Though it is unlikely because results are quite consistent, it doesn't vary from C- to A. It's usually one or two grades different.

CGPA is accumulative across papers from year 1 to 3, not yearly. So, don't think that HGPA is important because it appears on your cert. CGPA is as important as well.

What year are you in now?

make sure she is the one teaching you 202. you'll learn a lot with her.
She'll give tips on what to add on and what to write in lab report. Just make sure that you write down every single thing. Especially in the report part. It's really easy quite easy to score her assignments when you give her everything she needs.
though with her, it may be a little harder to score in exams but you know you REALLY earned it.
ESPECIALLY forensic psychology. it's super fun, I tell you. She's an entirely different person in forensics and you'll laugh through her classes because it's so carefree. hahaha!

Thanks for the wish!
