Lower foyer is at HELP main block. Just enter HELP main block from the main entrance and there you are, lower foyer you are standing on smile.gif
All psychology classes are at Wisma HELP or KPD. Ya mainblock is for Foundation and some other courses like design.
It depends on your timetable but if you are not taking MQA (Moral studies etc), you will most probably be free on Friday smile.gif

Welcome guys smile.gif All the best and enjoy your course ^^

Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship? You will have to do 11 subjects (including 3 free electives) for Psychology in the first year.

To complete a minor in Entrepreneurship, you will need to do 7 selected electives, 2 in first year, 4 in second year and the last subject in third year.

If you have the Psychology brochure with you, you will notice that there are Free electives under your module. Your electives for your minor will replace the general elective.

If you are doing a minor in Business related subject [eg. Entrepreneurship, you will most probably lose your 1 month plus holiday after your third semester unless you completed the 2 electives before your third semester (which will be a short semester)]

If you haven't completed your MQA subjects during Foundation, you will need to do it at HELP. So, you will probably need to take 2 MQA + 2 elective for minor and 8 Psychology subjects, which gives you a total of 12 subjects.

If you have completed your MQA, you will only need to take 10 first year subjects (I'm not so sure about this, I suggest you to approach the staff for better clarification).

From my experience of taking first year Business subjects, Business subjects are easier to score compare to Psychology subjects. But I'm not sure about second and third year one.

First year Psychology subjects are still ok but I heard from my senior that second and third year is the real game. Most students extend their 3 semesters into 4 (for 2nd and 3rd year) and if you are taking minor, you will be extending your semesters as well (since you need to take extra subjects for minor).

Hope it helps smile.gif

thank you for taking time to explain this to me smile.gif

Welcome smile.gif So are you planning to take?

At first I planned to take minor in Finance but then I found that I wouldn't be able to handle stresses of not having holiday for 3 years, so I gave up the minor.

Side note: For 2nd and 3rd year, Business department has different academic calendar (when Business holiday starts, Psychology new semester starts and during semester break for Psychology, Business department will be still be having classes), so most probably there will be no holiday if a minor is taken sad.gif

Sorry for giving so many discouraging thoughts. Hope you can make the right decision.

about the holidays i dont really mind...im afraid i couldn't tackle the subjs and ended not doing well on exam...

and about the essay writing can give me more detail...

wow, nice...
so whr r u staying??
there are CIMB n Maybank...
mainblock- maybank HSBC, RHB
i completed my second year and i can assure you that 2nd year is totally different than 1st year....
you need to spend a lot of time to get A in Psychology program!!!
what i can tell you is that do not be surprised if you get C or C+ for your exam...XD

to answer the question of minor...
can say it is the best to minor in HR and easier to get a job as it is related to psychology as well....
mostly when u r working in HR department, you will b either doing payment, interview, evaluation etc...
if u r taking minor u need to extend at least 1-2 semesters because a subject in year 2 need a pre-requisite of another year 2 subject which is HRM 201 n HRM 202...u need to take 201 in order to take 202....
unless u r a super genius then u can take more than 5 subjects in a long sem or 4 subjects in short sem...
bt i can tell you that maximum of 4 subjects in year 2 long sem  and 2-3 subjects in short sem can kill u...haha
*
there's CIMB in KPD? great management told me only Maybank...

I'm staying at Batai Hostel...
