hi there, I am currently studying psychology on 3rd semester. I want to ask several question regarding transfer for psychology undergraduate program. If anyone knows the answer, pls do share :') I tried to email the international office, but they haven't reply my email :'(

Here are the questions:

1) Does HELP University accept transfer credit from other university? In my condition, transfer credit in psychology courses from University of Indonesia
2) Is there any requirement needed for transfer students?
3) When is the deadline for transfer students?
4) How much is the psychology fees for international students? I couldn't find the fees on the web sad.gif

Eagerly waiting for your answer. thank you smile.gif

Would advice u to go for Foundation if you keen to continue ur studies up to Degree.
HELP definitely is a good college for business studies.
I took their foundation in arts and now in my last year of degree wink.gif

As far as I know from my friends is that you'll be in 2nd year of degree course but you may have to retake some subjects if the grades are not up to HELP's requirement and probably some additional subject as well.

In regards of UQ program, you'd have to check with the UQ department in Business Department of HELP smile.gif wink.gif

A-Level Ref Books I've no idea though. Maybe you can try checking it at Wisma UOA (opposite of KPD A) or the other photocopy shop nearby Rotiman and I doubt they open on Saturdays smile.gif

i study marketing in help,if im not mistaken, consumer behavior is exempted,i ehard this subject is really really hard,so i guess its a good thing

year 1
need to take
management accounting
principles of management
leadership and life skills

year 2
exempt consumer behavior

need to take one mpw subject, bahasa malaysia exempted

but of course i think nowadays HELP did some modify on the subject for each course,so what i studied may not apply to u

Hi,

Other than that, is there any different between the two cert.
Which is most "value" in accounting world "market" ?

Basically, the HELP UC programme is a homegrown programme by HELP while the UEL BAF programme is an external degree programme. I was previously from the UEL BAF programme, both programmes are able to obtain maximum exemptions for ACCA, for CPA and other accounting qualifications you better go and ask them properly to confirm about this. However in order to obtain the maximum exemptions for ACCA, in UEL BAF for the electives you gotta take the accounting subjects as electives. So this doesn't give you much flexibility and freedom to choose other subjects that you are interested in. If I were you, I would go to the HELP UC Bachelor of Business programme.  First of all the UEL BAF programme is relatively more expensive, and the quality of degree offered is not in par with the premium paid. UEL is a decent university, nothing special as well, the rankings are similar to other universities like Anglia Ruskin,Teeside, Hertfordshire. And you can get those degrees from other programmes offered by unis like SeGi for a cheaper price. Furthermore, currently the UEL department is quite desperate for students. When I was in UEL, my class only had about 10 people or less. I did not really like the environment and the lecturers as well. Many of the seniors also told me that the HELP UC programmes has higher standards compared to the UEL programmes. But in the end of the day, its up to you. Good luck!

Hi,

Is there a big different in term of subject you learn in these two degree, HELP UC vs UEL BAF ?
Both of them offer Bachelor of Art or BSc ?

Pls advice,

Tq

The core subjects are always there. However, the BAF from HELP UC offers much flexibility to choose other subjects rather than just accounting subjects. UEL BAF follows the British degree structure which only has 3 subjects per semester, if you analyzed the course structure you would realized that all the electives are mostly accounting and a small portion of finance subjects which needs to be taken in order to maximize credit exemptions for ACCA/CPA.

How do I get to the main block?
I will be a new student at HELP and I take the rapidkl bus. When I get down to the KFC / Subway etc area, is this the main block area?
Do you always take the bus to go between Wisma HELP and the main block?

Hello, can anyone please advise me on nearby accommodation, other than HELP residence and Batai Hostel, where i can commute to college via public transport or walking.

Thank you in advance.
