Hello, can anyone please advise me on nearby accommodation, other than HELP residence and Batai Hostel, where i can commute to college via public transport or walking.

Thank you in advance.

Hm, if you are asking about public transport, I can help you with that. There are two buses that goes to HELP main block. One is T634 and the other is U82.

T634 leaves from the Bangsar LRT station while U82 leaves from KL Sentral. I personally suggest T634 cuz it is frequent. About U82, I am not sure. I take T634 myself sometimes so I can guarantee you that it is good enough.

Another way is to take the HELP shuttle bus. It has its own timing. You should check it out. I dont take it as the timing is pretty hard to catch up. It departs from the Bangsar LRT station to the HELP Main block and also the KPD building.

You can rent a house nearby the Bangsar LRT station if you plan to take the bus. No traffic jam btw. Except if it is after 5pm. The roads are usually clear. It takes around 20mins to reach HELP ( the bus stops at watson and the shop lots ). It is the last stop of the bus. Then it goes back to Bangsar LRT from the bus stop.

You can try for accomodation near HELP by checking out the billboards at HELP's main block. People put ads there regarding rental house. Try looking around or ask people. Few of the people are renting outside with their group of friends. The rent can reach up to RM400. If ur lucky, then it would be around RM300+.

If you wanna know more bout the public transport, pm me smile.gif

Can someone clarify with me the academic calender for business undergraduate students?

I know there is a long semester (14 weeks) and short semester (7 weeks). When is the long sem and short sem? What about breaks?

Lets say I start in Oct, so how does my calender work?

Thanks for the help.

Sorry for late reply. We have our Psychology classes at Wisma HELP/ KPD. It's about 5- 10 minutes walk from Batai. It's quite near. Besides that it is near to the Main block where you make payment/ approach Registry.

Batai is somehow in the middle of the the two buildings (KPD and Main Block), so it's quite convenient.

Yes, it's possible to start your degree directly, however each and every university has different admission procedure some are quite rigid when it comes to this

Open universities such as WOU, OUM and AeU

other universities you have to ask them one by one, but I think you can try SEGi too

How is the Business courses at HELP, I heard its one of it's strong points, is it true ?

Can it be among the best in Malaysia, as I noticed they got partnership with some of the biggest Uni's in the world.

How often does a student be transferred or does it happen rarely ?

Please share your thoughts !!!!

Thanks

Hi, currently I'm doing my O levels and plan to take Psychology at Help after I finish my IGCSE in 2015 since Help is one of the best college to study Psychology in Malaysia. How's the environment there? Is it congested? How are the lecturers? Does Help offer scholarships to complete final year overseas? Most importantly, does Help offer classes for Forensic Psychology? Which college would you recommend me to go? I would be glad if someone answer my questions.
