framerate? i don't think so... even if can... the gameplay much more smoother with HD3870 on some games icon_idea.gif, this isn't fanboyism or something, but i have personal XP with GTS vs HD3870...

oops.gif, you're asking about 8800GT... of course 8800GT better, get 8800GT, forget HD3870...

overclock an 3870 can match or even better than 8800gt(stock speed) in gaming.
my 3870 oced score 14k 3dmark06 while the 8800gt score around 12k with stock speed.

the max i tried for my ex 8800gt with stock cooler was 730/1000.
it score lower than my current 3870 with HR03 Plus 1012/1350.

Says there on the box.. HD3870X2 1GB DDR3 .. but a normal HD3870 already comes with 512MB DDR4.

So.. which is better ? single HD3870X2 or 2 X HD3870 CrossFire ? hmm.gif

according to the current driver, CrossFire 3870 is better than single 3870X2.
i'm still waiting for the newer driver specific made for 3870X2 on this 28th.

The driver is not even optimized for HD3870 as it is now.
