saphire is good and cheap. u'll get free ori 3dmark06 all only at 760.
if u want oc version his iceq3 is at 850.

buy 3rp part cooler la...better IMHO

i tried modded bios..
the ccc slider change to 1500/1400 but too bad i think the modded bios use the old bios.. fan not right.. too slow..

set to 900/1250..
set with rivaturner to 60% fan speed.. ok.. but if anything goes wrong the fan speed will be reset..

must think about cooling method if really want to go extreem..
reflash the fixed bios as no point push so hard when cpu bottlenecking..

Push your OC-ability to the max but don't ever use it. Let's prolong the life of that GPU...

can.. if using ATIFLASH use
c:> atiflash -f -p 0 bios.file

-f to force different id as different maker got different id..

Hey man...you can increase your CPU's speed up to 3.5GHz. Try OC it a lil more. Mine's 3.5GHz at 1.38750v.

Not everyone is as daring as you lah...Most people wants to have a peace of mind, knowing that the card will not die prematurely before the release of the next generation of graphics card so that he/she can sell his current one 2nd hand...And I'm one of them. Although I know how to vmod and maintain it, I'm not too sure the next person in line to own my card would like to own a *scarred* card. It can be reverted easily, yes, but my conscience is not clear...

Thermalright don't use copper, so it's relatively light. It won't break the card lah...

at first i also worried about that.
but after double and triple check...no problem at all.

the base and the heatpipe are copper with nickel chrome.
