hehe. your lens at 300mm, your EXIF data also says 300mm. but your crop factor of 1.6 means you're at 480mm. try 1 / 500 then.

Erm, guys, sorry but I got a noob question here...
What exactly is the functions of a battery grip? Store extra battery and have the dial and shutter vertically? Does adding the grip adds more weight to the person holding the cam? Or does it just help the photographer have more steady shots, since camera is heavier? It is really necessary? |

QUOTE(CutieLynette @ Dec 11 2007, 12:50 AM) Erm, guys, sorry but I got a noob question here... double up the batteries, allow u to shoot vertically better, these 2 are confirmed. What exactly is the functions of a battery grip? Store extra battery and have the dial and shutter vertically? Does adding the grip adds more weight to the person holding the cam? Or does it just help the photographer have more steady shots, since camera is heavier? It is really necessary? as to whether it'll give u steady shots or not, i think it's subjective, i personally got better shots(better grip) because i had large hands, and the 350D is a little too small. if the 350D feels heavy to u without the grip, then chances are u will not get steady shots after adding the weight, your hands will tremble |

Store extra battery and have the dial and shutter vertically? Does adding the grip adds more weight to the person holding the cam? Or does it just help the photographer have more steady shots, since camera is heavier? It is really necessary? yes its adds more weight, and of course it does help to get more steady shots when shooting vertical grip |
