wow cool ! so many canon 350D/400D users.... should call for TT :-)

TT Details

Venue: Midvalley (Xmas tree), KLCC / around Bukit Bintang / Zoo Negara / Bird Park / suggestion
Date: 16 Dec 07
Time: 11am ( sounded weird for a TT, open for suggestion )

Theme: poison session, the idea is to TT, and have something to shoot and there's when the poison got injected.

I will need those interested to vote/recommend a place and suggest time date if you can't make it.

valho: the problem with KLCC is i heard there will be some demonstration again this weekend, i will want to avoid KLCC for this reason. Putrajaya might be too far. I was thinking of Pavilion for meet up, shoot xmas tree then go to Times Square for Comic Fest

no problem ler, i always do that. Most of my friends always do that too.

./Hack-Fusion: what budget u got for your tamron 17-50mm f2.8 ? i got mine for RM 1350.

it's not a fair comparison as the nikon D80 is more expensive by almost RM1K (kit vs kit). if u were to get a better lens Canon 400D + 17-85IS... i will go for the canon 400D... price wise almost the same...

the advantage of canon is the ISO 800/1600 is pretty useful compared to nikon... with the 17-85, it has IS (Image Stabilizer) which allow u to take photos almost 3 stop down (if i remember correctly).

moving forward, the L lenses are very poisonous lens u don't want to touch, or u'll start thinking of it day and night

1) canon 70-200 F4 (non IS)
2) sigma 70-200 f2.8
3) canon 70-300 IS (also known as the hidden L lens because of its sharpness)

i have yet to try the canon 55-250mm IS anyone got one?

with the help of IS, the lens is quite sharp

the ideal seems to be able to have shutter speed at 1/60 with kit lens. Not possible without bumping up ISO or External Flash
