lol thanks for the kind words.
just got my 400D not too long ago. slowly playing with the settings. one thing i dislike is that the flash keeps popping out when in auto mode, even when i'm snapping pics in broad daylight. any solutions to this? This post has been edited by -vip3rleon9-: Dec 10 2007, 12:07 AM |

QUOTE(CutieLynette @ Dec 10 2007, 12:21 AM) I hardly used my auto mode, I'm not sure if the flash-popping is a normal thing. Have you tried using P mode to shoot instead? It should solve your problem. But then again, I'm no pro. lol i'll continue playing with the settings then. QUOTE(valho @ Dec 10 2007, 12:30 AM) it's normal, since the flash is use for auto focus as well. you can disable the flash by going to the last mode on the dial yeah. i use that. "flash-off" mode and also "A-DEP". |

QUOTE([ - i l l u s i o n s - ] @ Dec 19 2007, 10:13 PM) You're looking for the canon speedlites? They are Rm 1k onwards.. There are third party flahses but I can't help you on that =O yeah i was looking at Canon's Speedlite's. but somehow or rather, shops have told me that they don't bring in the 220EX as it's too mediocre . so i need something. |

QUOTE(R a D ! c 4 L @ Dec 19 2007, 11:09 PM) It's better to get the 580EX II since you're going to save up some money. It's a good flash, plus it has the function to control other canon flashes like the 430EX and the 580EX from a distance, like a strobe unit guys, did a photoshoot today with my gf. here's the shot^^ just a little sneak peek. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « >,< that'll set me back another RM1.6k~ i guess i'll wait my skills have extended and i've reached the point where i really do need a flash unit. wow that's your gf? looks like a model. |

QUOTE([ - i l l u s i o n s - ] @ Dec 19 2007, 11:59 PM) Yes it definitely is. My mom mentioned that if I want to get anything else I have to depend on my own already... haha.. same here. although for me it's my dad. and you're just older than me by a year btw. regretted not working. if i did, at least i would have some income to feed my hungry needs for hobbies. |

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jan 6 2008, 09:09 PM) You mean 70-300mm is it? How about Siggy 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro? You get a so so tele + macro You may straight jump to C70-200mm f4 L once you have enough money Or maybe you can look for Tokina ATX-PRO 80-200mm f2.8 lens. Its tack sharp BUT it's also a rare masterpiece. how much would the 70-300mm F5-5.6 be? yeah will surely get the 70-200mm F5 L once i've the money, it's sweeet. rare masterpiece means expensive or hard to find? QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 6 2008, 09:10 PM) What's ur budget in the first place? Trust me, just get an L and be rest assured you won't think about other lens. maybe around RM2-2.5k for the best price:performance tele lens. i'm still a student so i don't have a steady income. relying on my dad's though-a-lil-lost-but-still-ever-present passion for photography to obtain a lens. |
