hey guys, i saw a 400D Kit going for RM2550 today. is it a good price?

the only thing stopping me from getting it is the fact that it only comes in a kit. but after hearing what goldfries has to say about the kit lens, i'm starting to re-think about the offer.

lol thanks for the kind words.

just got my 400D not too long ago. slowly playing with the settings. one thing i dislike is that the flash keeps popping out when in auto mode, even when i'm snapping pics in broad daylight.

any solutions to this?

yeah. i use that. "flash-off" mode and also "A-DEP".

how much are the speedlight's (220EX, 430EX, 580EX) and the battery grip (BG-E3)?

yeah i was looking at Canon's Speedlite's. but somehow or rather, shops have told me that they don't bring in the 220EX as it's too mediocre .

so i need something.

i've thought of that, but my dad's the kind of person who doesn't really like second hand stuff..

so that's the problem.

well this is turning out to be an expensive hobby. i think the flash will come after a get myself a new lens. right now i'm on kit lens.. so.. yeah.
