i don't think so. your glare looks like it's from an angle beyond the lens hood's coverage.
best way to solve? find a better angle or close the curtain. |

I'm planning to step my foot into the DSLR world and get a 350D within the next few weeks. Most of my pict will be taken at low light condition such as during wedding dinner, mamak session, inside presentation room, etc with moving subject (a talking speaker on the stage, moving hands and face). Currently don't have enough budget for an external flash, so planning to take the photos without flash.
Can recommend me a lens that suits my situation? i was recommended with a 50mm f1.8, will this be any good at freezing the movements at low light? and what does this lens mainly used for? And the kit lens 18-55, 50mm, is this figure equivalent to the 3x optical zoom found in compat camera's specs? This post has been edited by pky: Jan 11 2008, 03:10 AM |

I'm not like the pros in here but on your keywords, we can suggest that go get a lens that comes with IS (Image Stabilizer), or get a tripod, some of the basics when shooting low light photos without a in/external flash. Can recommend me a lens that suits my situation? i was recommended with a 50mm f1.8, will this be any good at freezing the movements at low light? and what does this lens mainly used for? i don't think so. my system works without having any KREK sound. the loudest sound of the 18-200 OS so far, is only the focusing motor.
I use the OS and I've also seen Nikon's VR and Canon's IS. all are doing the same thing, none of them have KREK sound. I've seen so many people using the 18-200 OS, you're the first person that actually highlights this. again up to you if you think they're correct. based on my use of the 18-200 OS for the past 3 months, i doubt the reply. Added on January 11, 2008, 1:24 pmanyway, i think i'm going to the KL Bird Park thing so maybe we can meet up. This post has been edited by goldfries: Jan 11 2008, 01:24 PM |
