I used to buy Man Utd shirts from Man Utd Direct. For the very first time I chose Normal Delivery without tracking number (cheaper). Still didn't receive after almost 2 months. Contacted to the customer support, they refund the money to me via credit card within a day, and then the second time I chose UPS delivery.

When I received the parcel within 10 days, the parcel is just a soft plastic cover the shirts... It has the big Manchester United logo and three stripes colors - white, red and black... No wonder it never reach to my doorstep... I guess definitely kena fu*king "hamtam" / "rampas" by one of the customs people...

**Sorry for reviving the thread.. recently i bought a Zaku + phone from Japan and today just got a letter about it being detained



On previous purchases which was a lot of music cds (japan print cds of artist that i listen to), I was having the same situation, being held by custom. The only difference this time is that it has a tick on:

[] Permohonan untuk kebenaran mengimport yang diluluskan (Borang AP)

The Zaku head is kinda like gunpla as what most other people know, except it has a phone with it. the head is the docking for the phone. its an old phone around 2006/2007 item. a collectors item if you may called so.

i already provide the documents like previously i did before without the thing stated above. What exactly is it? and how to clear it?

i think Custom want the import permit for the phone. Better u reconfirm with ur courier.

by courier do you mean poslaju? i appoint poslaju as my agent since i wont be able to drive there and settle it. emailed them like previously i did and currently waiting for any reply.. finger-crossed. hope it wont have too much trouble.

yes, poslaju but better u contact them instead of email. If they still insist for the permit, u may try contact Ansarcomp 01132909022. They're agent for sirim permit.
or u can go to sirim & settle it by ur self. They also will assist u.

Hi, has anyone brought something from iherb, and was told detain by MOH Sabah. How do you claim back your parcel? providing a doctor letter? Or request the parcel to send back?

Hi guys, I have a parcel held by Customs but no information on why or where. Can anyone let me know where I can go to get more information? I heard someone went over to get parcel released before the letter came...

Also if these items will be held in a warehouse or left under the sun? Items inside will spoil especially if have to wait 2 weeks during this lockdown...

Same here, I sent some hand made masks for my family for covid prevention but "Detained by Customs due to tax/permit ". Sent an email but didnt get any feedback. The local post office here told me they can't help me on the matter since the parcel already reached over to Malaysia and can't make a request for returning the parcel unless the recipient reject the parcel! Wonder why tax? since its just personal gift. Anyone have the same experience before or know how to reject a parcel so that it can be returned to me? Thank you.
