i'd bought 5 dresses + shirts from singapore and the items have yet to reach me. it has already been 2 weeks.

can anyone tell me if it's normal to wait for such a long period of time? or it's highly probable that my parcel has been held by the kastam?

i used normal mail anyway =(

My bro had receive several items from his Londoner's friend such as HP Laptop, gold watches and Nokia Communicator.
Now it was being held by the Custom and somebody from the Custom ask my bro to ready RM5000.00 in order to bail out the goods.
Question here..
1. Is he a genuine Custom Officer since he contact my bro using his handphone and not official govt. telephone.
2. Did he need to fork out rm5000.00 just to to ensure he get the goods.

He should receive the arrvial notice as well as the notificaton frm Customs, this is the procedure in KLIA cargo clearance.
Believe those whom have called him could be a freelance agent that does clearance ad-hoc for such consignment

My advice is meet him and discuss further otherwise ignore him and DIY

no such thing as clearance agents for item like phone etc, customs will call direct from their office. at least based on my experience. and u can meet up personally, ask their to proof how genuine they are by asking abt the kad kuasa from them.

Nothing, except a refund from the company/ individual. Seriously, Malaysia has issues when it comes to these kind of things. Two similar cases has already happened to me:
1) Ordered an item from Play-Asia since 24th May. Sent through Air Economy Box(insured, but no tracking number). Almost 2 months have passed and I have never received any letter from the custom or the post office to collect the item. Contacted P-A support and they were very confused with the mishap. Got refunded in store credits after that.


2) Friend sent a handphone from Australia in March. Until now, I still haven't heard any news about it. Unfortunately, my friend lost the tracking number so there's no way to track it.

Definitely some imbeciles on our side that sabotages our belongings.
