I see.. calculating that way is not accurate really.. you earn USD, you spend USD. You can't say you earn USD and come back to Msia to spend

Unless you're talking about saving in USD, then it's good.

Company: EPCC firm (from Germany)
Field: Oil and Gas (Downstream)
Basic Salary: RM2.7k (after probation=3k)
Bonus: unknown
Probation period: 6 months
Tenure: Permanent
Working hour: Mon-fri (8am-6pm)
No OT and allowance
Location: KLCC
Experience before joining: 6 months in engineering firm (different industry)

First 6 months(probaly longer,depend on project) will receive on-site training (Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning) at East Malaysia
RM 800 per month allowance will be given during this period.
Working hour at site: Mon-Sat (7am-6pm) No OT!! sad.gif
They said will revise my salary after bk frm commissioning, duno how true isit...

ermm... i would say below lor... but that 1 was for fun nia.. during uni break... counted as go there for holis ler...

a kindergarten teacher gets 3.2k usd.... the lowest of the lowest rank police gets 56k usd per annum...

neway now that i have graduated... i got another position.. hope they pay well...

ermmm... i would say quite worth the amount they pay u... u work long hours but they pay u well...

Yeap, only O&G upstream activities benefit frm this high oil price and booming.... Their effect on downstream activities like refinery, ammonia, methanol, and LNG are limited.

For me, the paid is so so only.... i heard the permanent staff frm german and other regional office hv OT claime.... our malaysia office only hv three permanent staff which included two director and me.... the rest is all contract staff..... and the salary for those contract staff are 2-3times compare to market...

Guys,
My salary is about RM3500 including bonus. I will quote RM4k for my expected salary will it be too high after 2 years of working experiences?

If I were you I'd quote 4200, my rule is to get at least 20% of increment for every job I hop

3500 * 20% + 3500 = 4200

tat day i went klcc there interview for accounts assistant.
got 3yrs+ experience she only offer me 1.6k basic only.
cant survive ler with tat salary!

If U've been working for 3 years+, U should not be interviewing for an A/C Assistant post anymore...for A/C Assistant, RM1,100 to RM1,800 is the standard nowadays. smile.gif
