Nop for 3.48Gh with 4:5 ratio, meaning 218fsb:273mhz .. I dint. But tried in stock speed. Gain around 42s.. sweat.gif As i know, super PI were more depend on cpu rather then ram. Correct me if im wrong. But memory bandwidth is slightly increase at 4:5 ratio due of PAT enable.

@Ray
Haha.. Nah! Pensgter GC also enough juice for this card. Come come.. Invest new GC! laugh.gif I saw alot of nice game around now. Cant wait to dominated all the ProStreet now! Next game might be Gears of Wars.. drool.gif
*
doubt my rig can handle ProStreet smoothly larh.it's already having problems with CSS with 2X AF sad.gif i dont even get decent playable FPS when playing CSS during heavy fighting part.

QUOTE(raymond5105 @ Nov 19 2007, 09:31 AM)
@fylon,ya going to invest for new GC sometime later.Hehe,see year end bonus can fit me for a new GC or not.Pengster seems like now busy for his SPM exam.Now he can't play ProStreet.

@kabu,BH5 you will have some feel.You will see the bandwidth is much more better than normal RAM.
*
lol im not sitting for SPM yet man.1 more year for me laugh.gif

Once this 1 'kong' then im going to dead for times. sweat.gif Otherwise, go ur house dig ur socket A borrow me. brows.gif

@Pengster
Owh? Ur GC cant handle CSS? Hm.. Never try mine with that game before. As i dont really like FPS game. laugh.gif If something like C&C 3 or NFS, i sure will play on it.

if you want i can spond my 2000+ and the mobo to you. promise that you give me your p4p800se. wahahahaha laugh.gif

@herojack41
thats better. smile.gif

so you havent oc?? just disable the auto oc option in bios then manually increase the 5mhz at a tiome till you fail boot to windows. the rest you set to auto(like ram timing, vcore, vdimm etc). once you have reach oc limit(when cannot boot to windows), slowly decrease 1mhz at a time till can get into windows.

since you dont have the good cooler around, better dont increase the vcore. at stock i think there is no problem for you to get till 3ghz. are yours prescott or northwood? (just saw you update it, prescott, right? 2.8E)

FYI, oc on stock vcore still not having huge risk of spoil your system. better be sure that you keep an eye on the cpu temp. if over 50C then better stop pushing more eventhough it can go further. because you are using prescott.

consult fylon and sang_karim, they have almost the same stuffs like yours. Wondering why all of you getting p4p800se?? wahahahaha....

Edited: update some info.

i think your airflow in your casing is not good. try improve the airflow like have good intake and exhaust airflow, tidy up the cable.

easiest way of testing the airflow---> open side panel. if the temp decrease alot mean you need to do something to your casing airflow. i faced that problem before last time with my prescott. close side panel temp pump up till >50C!! once open case it drop <40C. doh.gif for years i use this rig open side panel. tongue.gif

i think it's kinda normal if u r using stock hsf coz i remember when i'm using stock hsf with 2.4Ghz .. the temp is around that ... maybe u can reattach ur hsf and use AS5 or MX-2 for thermal paste .. maybe can help a bit ... nod.gif

haha...if you want my northwood, hehehehe...maybe i want to trade with your prescott. brows.gif at least with northwood you can oc without more worry on the temp even on stock HFS. mine now running at temp <38C on load. even oc till 3.3GHz also less than 43C full load. i love the temp.

thats the total idea of open case...wahahaha....i used a tablefan to blow diirectly to the casing. dust is alot but performance is great. hehehe

but dont smoke and keep you room clean, then you can open the case panel. ofcoz for permanent solution, improve the casing airflow is important like add intake and exhaust fan.

i tell herojack to open the case is to chenk is the cpu really hot or just the hot air still trap nearby HFS area.
