I dunno CIMB SG preferred program is no need apply it auto give you? Recently I place a FD via mobile app and was given the preferred online promotion rate. Understand CIMB MY operate differently from CIMB SG so maybe you can call in and ask?

Many of popular products pushed by privilege/priority r.m is left over from private/investment bank.

A lot of useless RM nowadays that only wants to sell. I myself got one auntie that is so thrash to the point I’m thinking if I should just cancel the priority membership so I don’t need to deal with her anymore.

1. To diversify

2. To avoid putting all my money in one basket

3. To transfer money in between SG bank account to avoid dormant or inactive account
