QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Feb 3 2022, 09:26 AM) Does hsbc offers premier banking if you deposit your monthly salary of a certain amount into the account? What is the difference between the normal premier banking using deposit? Yes, RM16K monthly into the HSBC account will entitle you to be upgraded to Premier Banking benefits. |

Yes as long as you have 16K from different companies, U will be upgraded.Of course, the transaction description must have a valid description la (e.g. company name / code / month etc) damos_csui liked this post

QUOTE(guanteik @ Feb 4 2022, 07:48 PM) Yes, RM16K monthly into the HSBC account will entitle you to be upgraded to Premier Banking benefits. The HSBC website says 16,500 gross salary. But if deduct tax, epf and all.. the nett amount is much less right? So does anyone know if HSBC meant gross or nett 16,500 salary banked in each month? |

Hi, would like to ask sifus here.
I have CIMB Preferred, thinking of buying a new car and getting the special rate for hire purchase. Last time I bought a car (before getting Preferred), I applied for the loan through the salesperson. Was wondering, if I do that now can I still get the special rate? Or I have to apply for it myself? Asking here because strangely enough, I don't have an RM that I know off...one day I just ended up getting Preferred status |

QUOTE(guanteik @ Feb 2 2022, 08:12 PM) You can leverage this benefit for loans / servicing by RM / but UT with better rates especially nearing Ur Bday. The Maybank Premier eligibility says that alternative is RM1 million investment or loan, to qualify. Does this mean that if I take out a RM1 mil home loan with maybank, I'm eligible ?Technically, you'd need to lock 250K to be a PW member. |

My RM did mention the benefits are different though if you quality with 1m versus with investments. Clarify that with your RM. |

I have a home loan over 1mil with HLB and they didn't say anything about their premier banking facilities...not even offering a credit card when I opened a current account to facilitate the loan

QUOTE(cheeseng89 @ Feb 17 2022, 12:52 PM) Hi, would like to ask sifus here. The car loan business from CIMB and the normal (preferred) banking business are more or less totally seperate. Problably your CRM can not do much more for you than giving you the address of CIMB car loan branch. This is the same with all banks as far as I know.I have CIMB Preferred, thinking of buying a new car and getting the special rate for hire purchase. Last time I bought a car (before getting Preferred), I applied for the loan through the salesperson. Was wondering, if I do that now can I still get the special rate? I think I qualify for hlbb but have declined their invitation few years back. Rethinking of applying it and seeking forummers here whether itโs worth joining Hlbb priority? |

If I were to join CIMB preferred program, will I be able to negotiate the interest rate on my existing mortgage to follow the rate that they are currently offering to preferred member?
