So I have outstanding credit card around RM7K+ .Applied for balance conversion, yet barely able to survive after pay the monthly payment.
Other than credit card, I also have other bnpl payment. Spaylater, boost payflex. And also postpaid monthly payment around RM250 per month.
The worst decision is using the cc to paid for the postpaid payment. Now cc is unable to use due to max limit.
So I am thinking about going to akpk program.
My questions are
1. What will happen to my credit card after the akpk program completed? Can I still use it?
2. How long I will under ccris record?
3. If I have bnpl, like boost payflex and shopee paylater, will it be likely be frozen?
Currently I’m an AKPK subscriber, so I’ll answer your questions based on my own situation with AKPK. Your amount seems quite low, so I don’t think you can masuk AKPK — I had 7 credit cards with max limits of 20k each, sampai rasa nak mati last time when I lost my job during the pandemic. So here goes:
1. What will happen to my credit card after the AKPK program is completed? Can I still use it?
Nope, once you put your credit card under AKPK, that card is permanently unusable. I suggest keeping at least one card for emergency use — just pay the minimum until the highest interest card is cleared, then snowball the payments until it’s fully settled.
2. How long will I be under CCRIS record?
Your CCRIS stays clean, but you cannot apply for new loans until you’ve fully completed AKPK (all debts settled). If you quit halfway, then your CCRIS record will show bad because of outstanding debts.
3. If I have BNPL like Boost PayFlex or Shopee PayLater, will they be frozen?
These don’t fall under AKPK since they’re not regulated by Bank Negara — only bank facilities are included. So you can continue using them as usual.
hope answer your questions.
