how many engine mouting you've changed? did you change all or only change the damage one?

What's engine mounting if i may ask..Noob in all these car things

The part which hold the engine to your chassis.

there is 4 all together, Front, Rear, Left and Right. If change engine mounting, recomended to change all.

Will faulty engine mounting cause metal knocking sound?

i hv just change 2 unit buttom of engine moulding.
but act. just one broken.but i change 2 unit.
so meaning rear, front, left and right plus buttom 2 unit.
maybe total is 6 unit engine moulding.

nope, usually it will cause vibrations. what kind of knocking that you're referring to? mind to further eleborate?

Sound is from the front left part, like passing over rough roads the sound will come..
it's like metal against something 'ggrruu ggrruu ggrruu'
Send to check absorbers everything ok..

have you checked the bumper mouting?

i got this sound too....like going to parking area or rough road, my left side will have grruuu grruuu gruuu sound..dono wtf

i thought absorber thats why i want to change mine. not absorber then wats the problem?


also my rear left side got funny sound when i start moving the car...like got krung sound ...just like 0.5 second and then when car move gone.....if stop go stop go, i'l have this sound.


i check my brakes already..change rear brake pad few weeks ago coz thin.....which i thought was the problem but it was not.

Im not sure if the bearing is having problem

My car got sound from rear right tyre part(i suspect). Sounds like krek2 when cornering, reverse....this sound appear when goinf up bump or any rough road. dont know how or what to check...dono how describe more clearly too

That's probably the handbrake cable bracket that's broken off. Just needs some welding work and that noise is gone.

Under absorber also got mounting if no mistaken(left and right). After change this 2 mounting should be ok else changed absorber also wont solve the problem.

Where is ur shop. I am looking for timing belt for my waja. Hehe..

today i just check my car..
4unit absorber hv broken, front moulding absorber and cover drivesharp.it hv cost me Rm670 for repair and lucky the rear absorber still hv warranty.my fren recommand me use APM perforMAX,so i hv been change front absorber to APM n rear stil maintain IMPROVE this brand.but i will tell u guy here dun try to use this IMPROVE even hv 1 year warranty.in between 1 year i hv now claim 3 times for my rear IMPROVE absorber.

I'm using GAB.. no problem at all and it performs very well...
