dutch height history

Yes, you can change the height thing in few gens.

It is all about wealth and diet which leads to so-called "athletically superior".

You can see the HUGE different between PRC and India in Olympics.
Indian kids are still malnutrition... on average.
Can't feed the people nicely, can't win medal in pro sport.

Yes, the right mind for the sport too, like JP and SK which both are ethnically homogenous. Better spirit and unity.

Globalization and family getting richer (than previous gens) lead to more food/nutrition variety, thus taller.

I'm 80s with less food/nutrition variety. The kids from 90s and 00s are getting taller slowly. U guys no notice?

Yes, younger generation memang lagi tinggi.
It’s already happening — but if we’re serious about improving long-term, our diet needs to evolve too.

From nasi lemak pagi-pagi to more milk-based, protein-rich foods.
Kalau asyik makan karbo je, cam mana badan nak grow?

Not saying abandon local food lah… but kalau nak anak tinggi, kuat, and lari 90 minit tanpa pancit — nutrition kena upgrade juga.

QUOTE(Schumacher @ Jun 12 2025, 12:31 PM)
If only physicals really that important. Or else you bring in more experienced naturalised players also cannot enter WC2030.

And this 4 scorers already older also. Teamwork must start from young. Lamine and Mbappe train with spain and France team since kids.

Play with vietnam sure good enough but if face saudi , japan , Australia Iran dont think can win. If your mix and match naturalised team can beat these teams then have chance enter WC which is unlikely as they won't have good teamwork.

See WC UK 2006 stars players still lose. Somemore mix and match naturalised cannot oo.

I’m not saying physical strength is everything, but let’s be honest — in top-tier sports, physical strength is one of the most important attributes.

At that level, everyone has skills, the technical gap isn’t huge. What separates winners is the ability to last longer, push harder, and win duels — especially when opponents are trained to exploit every small weakness.

You can be skillful, but if you’re constantly getting outmuscled, outrun, or outjumped — you’re a liability.

That’s why physicality matters just as much as talent and tactics — maybe even more when it comes to the elite level.

Nothing to be proud of when majority of the players are not born citizens

If ayam recall correctly
In Asia, Japan is the first to use a naturalized player in 90s
Brazil Wagner Lopes but Japan work out extra mile on league and academy system to grow together.

Some Pak Arab occasionally recruit Africans but use Arab names hence went undetected unlike Qatar which gone full blown

In ASEAN scene, Singapore used the naturalisation card in 2000s to bring them multiple Tiger Cups.. Bennett, Duric, Qiu Li, Agu etc
But they failed to sustain it without proper youth academy
Indonesia and Philippines recruited few too but gave up half way before the recent Holland2.0 move

Malaysia had tried both cards but the players are still not good enough for Asia stage, so the recent heritage 2.0 has brought stronger A cards

The current batch is strong, but... really suspicious...

I pray these are really heritage players with proper documentation, if not we are gonna get into trouble,

Vietnamese and Indonesian fans confirm will be trying to report us to FIFA

IMO if KPG play less Paulo and Natxo and played more Nooa Lane, we could have went further in both Afc and World Cup qualifiers

Maybe I am too hard on Paulo, but I genuinely think Paulo underperformed even local players. Genuinely some games he just was pointless. Natxo was even more useless.

Heritage 1.0 was good enough for Asia, just dragged down by Natxo and Paulo.

Slight different though. HK is "international city-state" (new modern nationhood concept) macam Singapore. The mindset on accepting "heritage" and "naturalized" is easier. Human movement is higher.

I remember few years ago when Cambodia hosted the SEA Games 2023, the basketball team was basically all black players (naturalized; starting team). And it gets backlash from the public.

In the Winter Olympic Games 2022, PRC's ice hockey team was basically Canadian Team B. LEL. It was an "experimental work". Testing the public reaction.

Mindset matters. The old traditional statehood or new modern nationhood concept.

Because it's a big win and all goalscorers are heritage players, especially the new ones, naysayers have been shutdown by people celebrating.

Wait la for a big loss, then you see these people coming out. Like after Asian cup, you see people say how heritage players weren't that good, 2 goalscorers against Korea were local born Malays anyway.

it seems bola sepak bukan lagi mainan kita sampai kita kena import warisan/natarulisasi sbgnya.
dalam 5 tahun akan datang pemain yang main dekat kelab especially yang bukan selatan tak dapat sarung jersi HM
lama lama player pun bosan
liga pun jadi tak guna sebab player pun rasa tak ada improvement

Interesting theory but I don't think it works.

Look at the pictures. I doubt anyone would call Sri Lanka, Cambodia an "international city state".
