Decided to give Torras Q3 Air a try.

Ordered from Shopee torras which has shopeemall tag, is this legit though? The packaging and box came in mandarin letters.

I have attached an image of it… not sure if I want to return it or whether can return or not…

For anyone using torras q3, does the camera button work for zooming?

Damn, collected my 17 Pro at Maxis but got minor defect at the glass, Maxis is not gonna be responsible for it. Dunno what to do now... Straight go Apple Store at TRX?

My bro faced the same problem, has a very minor cosmetic defect on the body (actually you won’t see it if you don’t look closely). We asked for replacement unit, Maxis said can but they will have to first return the device to their HQ and join the waiting list again (in a month). They claimed they can’t give us another replacement unit on the spot as all customer are linked to the IMEI of the phone. This is Maxis in TRX.

We asked about the warranty by Apple, Apple Store apparently doesn’t cover very minor cosmetic defect. So, the only way is to return to Maxis and they’ll issue us another unit, but have to wait… (we took the unit in the end).

I opened on the spot at Maxis Sunway Pyramid, complained on the spot. All the staffs here have 0 manners, talk nicely to them, they bring you for a ride. Only the manager have manners.
I like what the assistant manager said to me when I'm asking him questions, "this is my branch, what i say goes"

I think got it delivered by that..saw others also have same problem..

So two weeks into using the new toys, what do you guys think? Do you guys really see the improvements in the battery life and camera, especially if you’re coming from the 16 Pro series?

Still waiting for 17PM, but i'm coming from 12PM , I'll try and ask Switch on the day of collection that i made up my mind and plan to change to Pro instead, if they have stock on I'll just change over. I'm still dilemma between Pro and Pro max. I also used Xiaomi 15 Ultra, so thinking of carry two big boys.... errr.

Save that RM500 for other things and go for PRO Non-Max

I tried turning the kickstand whilst putting my finger on the round attachment, it doesn’t move when i move the kickstand though.. so not sure if this is what u meant?

Its my day 2 using this case, so far so good, no scratches.. although i am worried that constant taking the phone in and out of cases will cause scratches haha.

I usually start using naked 2-3 months into the ownership. Every phone without fail. And i change my phone yearly since iPhone 4. And yes, I’ve been stalking this subforum since then quietly. It is not until yesterday that i started posting! So god of cases, fruitie’s poison and you….. and the rest who aren’t mentioned. I know you all but you guys don’t know me 

Used pro on 11 and 12, changed to pro max from 13-16 due to better battery life compared to pro. Since this year’s pro battery size increased quite significantly compared to last year, and I’m also tired of big phone after all these years, so decided to change back to pro.

If battery life is your main concern, this year is the best timing to switch. After using 17 pro for 2 weeks, the battery life is on par with 16 pro max for my usage pattern, not regretting a bit on switching back to pro.

Talk about idea 2nd phone, I would say Apple 17 Air is prefer. Thin, light, perfect size as 2nd phone.

I upgraded from 16PM to 17PM while my wife from 15PM to 17Air, I would say if you guys have 2 phones to carry, 17 Air is definitely the best 2nd phone we can ever have due to its slimness as well as the light weight.

I carry my IP16PM and 17PM in a pocket, my pant gonna be unbalance. Thinking to trade my 16PM to 17Air as secondary phone.

If you have no issues with the size of your current PM never swap like ever. You will regret 1000%   

I also want to switch to 17 PM now after seeing the screen on my 17 Pro 

Pro’s feel in hand definitely superb, especially one-handed use and when making calls with phone on ear. But heavy users can’t stand the reduced battery life though, so Pro Max is the only way to go. 🫠😌

Finally, Maxis approved my replacement. Estimated waiting time is 25 days or less, no stock.

As above. Ok ok, approve for u to change. Tell ur friend buyer’s remorse 7 days no question ask for both sides. If he/she not willing, cut ties with this “friend”. 😉

It can’t be. I just have to order again Torras Q3 Air due to huge price drop from Lazada. RM 135!!!

This techwoven is really prone to little fabric crack… mine just had a minor tear at the charging pot hole…

Oh, something happened during the teambuilding. I fell off a scooter ride and hurt my elbow and the back of my head but I'm OK. Luckily for me, I put the phone in a waterproof case (I was supposed to go on a water activity), otherwise, my phone would have been fully scratched, as I usually put it in my pocket. With this fall, my phone would have flown out of my pocket. Lucky.

For outdoor stuff... I do tend to switch to a more rugged case for protection (16pm was on phone rebel)... This year going for Torras q3 air since so popular here...but not for everyday use.

Actually I don’t see much difference le compare 1st gen with 3rd gen.

This year’s flex is the most obvious one. My colleagues think I’m crazy to change iPhone every year. So long my boss is not based in Malaysia to see it otherwise may think my salary is more than enough.

No more buying new cases.
