fruitie can I check what was the status shown on your shopee before you collect it at collection point? Mine is showing 'parcel is out for delivery', not sure if its ready for collection or will they specifically say ready for collection etc?

Just received the package, apparently the cutout hole is for flash (cannot pick lidar or flash, its defaulted for flash, if want cutout on lidar then got to punch hole yourself.

installation was easy (less anxiety than putting tempered glass). mine was not installed to perfection...can see abit of dust trapped but im totally fine coz purpose is only to protect scratches, ill barely look at it...compare to tempered glass if there are bubbles then have to undo till perfection.

Overall, very happy with the outcome, happy to have this film installed, with the phone going in and out of the pocket all day long, just matter of time before scratches miraculously appear on the plateau lol

P/S: it also comes with lens film protector (3 round films) but I ditched that, only want the camera base film..

Yes it comes with 3 lens film, I korek korek and realize its part of the package lol..but of course yeah we ditch it, or our camera shots gonna be horrendous lol..

I didnt punch hole on the lidar coz its kinda redundant for me, I don't use measuring or any AR related stuffs...(I actually just tried the measuring app to test test, still accurately done, so I think the film doesn't affect anything at all)

Honestly this plateau is a headache to us, imagine phone going in and out of our pocket/bag hundreds of times daily, scratches will eventually appear from no where lol...I think this film is crucial to have...im keeping my 2nd piece for next year's iphone, most likely they will retain the plateau and size for iPhone 18 pros lol

Yea man its really good, I don't wanna over promote it but this years woven is really really good to the eyes and hands..you gotta see one to feel it...much better than all the silicone and even leathers in the past..im contemplating to get the green one now (purple and black is out of list coz already got navy which is darker shade)..

for me, navy orange is better than black orange.

brown is probably the best in colour blending coz all the cutouts will expose the phone's orange colour i.e charging port, the side crossbody holders etc.... when looking at phone screen will also notice the phone's orange at the border of the casing...

yea you gotta see the real thing, it hits very different from the pics/video...black also nice but too loud for me.. if you like screaming plateau from far then black would be nice..

the material is good as well, quite sturdy and durable compared to the silicone/fine woven....buttons are very clicky and tactile..something like their leather case buttons in the past..

the seller often restock, gotta camp for it every now and then... or try other sellers suggested in one of the earlier posts?

fruitie something strike my mind all of a sudden when a friend asks about the camera base film protector adhesive/glue, not sure if it'll do anything to the aluminum material i.e remove the anodize paint when removing the film..or leave permanent mark etc... idk lol i told him its better than living the fear of scratches from putting/removing the phone from pocket all the time...chances of scratching without the film is far greater than film leaving marks/removing paints..

DBrand skins for sure will tear the paint off coz the glue is super strong..the adhesive/glue from this alcheapo film is no where close to DBrand’s power…it’s like the screen protector glue we used to get from early iPhone era…so there’s a chance it won’t remove the paint…I used to put dbrand skins too so I know how strong the glue is compared to this..

Yea I think should be ok too…. I just check on the lens film to test the glue, it’s not very sticky actually…the type that won’t stick anymore after removing 1-2 times lol…

Haha not gonna poison u but I really like the tech woven case this year, normally I’ll get a cheapo clear case during launch, or a rm100+ spigen, then few months down the road I’ll get an apple silicone/leather..this year when I saw the real tech woven I couldn’t resist…it ticks all the criteria I was looking for in a case.. immediately grabbed …

hmm I didn’t remove or undo the installation, but i took out the 3 lens film to test the glue, it’s very minimal, like a quarter or half the strength of our regular Hoda/amazing thing tempered glass for main display..

Hmm I think the film cutting is quite precise leaving not much space at the plateau border…making it harder to remove unless we have long nails…

I think machines gardens or MV have display unit but only in Blue…good enough to feel the material and test test..and they are not wired so you can even put your phone in to test the real thing..

Im actually abit skeptical with the shopee 'Apple Flagship Store' seller, I asked them in the past where are these items from, which store etc, their reply was 'we are online base and we don't own any shops', then I was like if no store then why say flagship store, also labeled as Authorised reseller..but no store/shop is abit sus.. They don't seem happy being questioned and gave me attitude, cant justify and brush me off...so I avoided this shop...I don't think they scam based on their ratings, but where these items come from is questionable...how authentic the items are is another thing....

Yes I had the same issue with my blue woven, the back is nice but the front highlighting orange border is abit annoying tbh, I switched back to sienna and never use the blue for now…sienna front blends in well (also the charging port and 2 extra holes at the corner exposing the contrast)

We sama gang plateau protector but no camera lens protector haha

I actually mentioned it in my previous post, sadly you didn’t see it or you might actually give it a second thought before placing order for the black one..

Maybe this proves how deadly and poisonous this ‘place’ is hahahaha

The orange line around the case when you look at display, after a while you barely notice it though, not a nuisance anymore just takes time to get used to it fruitie

I think black is nice, no need to return if you really like the colour contrast. The front orange line will be fine after a while…

Yeap agree orange and sienna is the best, but others come very close to it..

No need to wait if you can camp Apple Store online every morning. Opt for self pick up, and you can get it immediately.

Not hard to self apply tbh, for alignment - left side masuk all 3 lens lubang, right side masuk flash lubang = 100% accuracy there…

More challenging on the dust part, just fill up all the space with sticker or cello tape, then pull out lens protector, immediately remove all sticker, and slap it on the plateau…(I did this but still got 2 dust trapped but I’m not OCD so I accepted as it is)

It’s ok to be above the casing, display is still well protected, if crack or cannot tahan scratches in the future, just get a new one…

Haha got mine for 0.20 for 2 pieces but that's with some idk what vouchers

Not sure why but I felt better to have a film on plateau over a glass..just felt like it shouldn't add anymore thickness to the already bulky base..

Yea the tech woven this year is really good, even better than their leather and silicone. Im loving mine as well, feels good and looks good..hope they come up with tech woven wallets asap..can't wait..
