Gotta think twice with applying strong adhesive film stickers on aluminum...brands like Debrand has rather strong glue and might peel off the aluminum anodized paint as well after a while...3M should be quite strong

I’ve collected the 17 pro and hmmm…maybe I prefer the pro max lol

The battery drains quite fast on the 17 pro compared to pro max, maybe it’ll get better after 2-3 days of indexing…ios26 indeed drinks a lot of battery…

Hmmm I might switch back to pro max lol, have to admit im also bias + worry about battery (not worry about having not enough batt throughout the day coz of my other phone, more of dislike the feeling of seeing battery burn down so much and fast, after using the pro max for so many gens lol)…anyway going to give it few days to run indexes then only decide, smaller one either going to my wife or returning back to Apple, likely to the wife but she doesn’t like the plateau this year…

Very strong! Have you gotten yours? If not then now is the best time while they restock!

Yes can, but already bought casing and installed tempered glass so returning back would be a waste, trying to convince le wife to take it now but not much of pushes yet, still gonna wait few days first before I racun her kaw kaw, if failed then only back to apple

If I decided to stick to the pro then the pro max is going to my friend for 5500, actually he was the one who asked to swap his silver pro for my orange pro max, so I’m selling to him the same price I paid for the pro…

after thinking hard I’ve decided to go with the orange pro, coz worry regret with silver… so I told him I won’t swap but if I sell the pro max to him it will be the same price as his pro…it’s a win win since I bought it for 5,700 so good for us both.

Yea the initial plan was the swap 1:1 without any topup, I’m ok with that coz close friends must help each other ma furthermore I got it at discounted price and considering it’s not brand new so have to rugi abit…and before this, swapping with him would be ideal coz can skip the waiting…also he installed tempered glass and has casing etc ready for me… (of coz now is the best scenario coz I get a brand new without waiting, and also orange was my first choice)…so yea either way I have nothing to lose but getting orange is better than silver to me lol

Yes he has to find new buyer for his silver pro if I’m selling him my pro max, I think he don’t mind coz he really dislike the pro, says too small for his palm and battery etc etc

Yeap lucky today, got 1 unit of orange pro ready stock from TRX

transferred everything, installed tempered glass and got a mageasy casing from Machines..using it now and realize maybe the pro max suit me better going to use it few days and let it run indexes before deciding to go with which one

Actually all 3 colours also very nice but orange is best, loudest and also more special...

Bought the Mageasy clear case from machines…too many Techwoven for pro max, so wants a change on this pro..clear case is actually quite nice on the pro, will share some pic later…for some reason I don’t like clear case on the pro max, feels plasticky on the bigger orange..

My second choice is actually silver. Coz silver can match with any casing, especially clear case, really bring out the elegance…

I was told the 17 pro batt is better than 16 PM too, but it shows otherwise. Maybe coz my pro going through indexes now, but the batt is definitely not as long lasting as my 16 PM, it was just less than a month ago I was using the 16 PM so memory still serves me well…

If I’m putting them on a scale, the batt on 17 pro is probably 5/6, 16 PM was 7, 17 PM maybe 8.

Hmm it’s not really bad kind of bad, but coming from many years of pro max, it drains batt much faster and I’m just not used to seeing it drop every tick per few mins..maybe I’ll be alright after a while when I get used to it (if I ever get used to it), but so far the pro max is winning..

I think the pro still lasts through the day even on heavy usage…definitely much nicer to hold on the hand, single hand typing is easier now, have to get used to seeing lesser on the screen due to smaller estate but that’s fine.

1 big issue with the pro though - when using the phone, my index finger tend to touch and rest on the plateau area and camera lens (not protected by casing hence need plateau film protector), on the pro max my index finger rest on the square panel (on casing) but this is just personal experience coz diff people has diff palm size and finger length, also different holding style etc. Now my camera lenses are covered with fingerprints all the time (and also the plateau area, + to make it worse my plateau film has not arrive yet) might potentially leave scratches on the camera lens..

Also note that the black uw tends to get scratches easily, if you are planning to use casing or glass protector then it's ok..

Yes my first day with the pro, charged to 80% yesterday night, woke up at 76%. Both 16 and 17 pro max I normally charge to 80% and unplug before sleep, and wake up 80%. Hope its the indexing that drains the batt (lowkey upset coz my first day with the 17 PM same cycle I woke up with 80% despite indexing ). Will see how it goes..

Hmm if I remind myself to not touch the lenses then its ok (still abit weird coz the phone is actually small to my palm if intentionally push my finger lower), the most natural and normal way of using it unfortunately, my finger's resting on the lens/plateau, like almost covering whole plateau lol

Haha must upgrade, but if really 95% same then can skip to upgrade other stuffs, soooo many other stuffs to upgrade within the ecosystem

I had the same issue back then 13 pro max, and decided to reset everything for my 14 PM, as in I don't transfer things directly from the 13, only transfer WhatsApp and few other important things, and restart from scratch, then it solve the problem...it was quite painful and tedious to do things from scratch again but I remember that time I switch to android to try out, so it was the best time to reset stuffs from scratch..

Today’s crowd at TRX @ 9.30pm, pretty empty tonight..

Im there almost 4-5 times a week for meetings, and most of the time meetings at bacha coffee which is right below apple store so its pretty convenient to go there, easy to hop in and out, I think some of the staffs in apple store recognize me already lol

Gone were the days when I do 80% on normal days, 90% when I travel abit further. Only can do that on pro max, tried it on pro and not working out well, been testing to increase 5%, now at 90% but I think will increase to 95% soon..

I’m sticking to 90% as well for now, if can I wanna maintain 90%…

I have the same experience older phone seems to charge longer at the 90% mark to 100%…
