Anchor has always been shit. Anything coming out of Australia New Zealand is always usually shit, be it food, products or pharmaceuticals. Avoid them.

Stick to Europe and even the USA.

I have not tried farm fresh, usually only go for European ones because of the flavour and smell of grass.

Recently I tried tillamook from Oregon, had no grass smell or like fermentation from French ones, but god damn the cream was so sweet and delicious too, especially when burnt on bread

Prefer Lurpak over Anchor.

Golden Churn only smells nice, but kind of meh when eaten. Good for baking only.

Of course the goat is Le Beurre Bordier.

can't go wrong with farm fresh. Some people just do not have faith with local product. Let them buy Australia or german or Nz to satisfy their guts.

I decided to try out one pack of Bordier from curiosity.
Bloody expensive but permanently ruined my standards on butter.
Now I can no longer look at cheaper butters the same way.

Tried this budda and it’s gooding

My eggs taste more creamy leh and I like that it doesn’t leave residue when slightly browned…some budda has a brown residue which I hate

From baker's point of view, its only 200g. Most recipes use 250g or 224g so its not efficient. Pricewise they're putting themselves in the slightly mid tier premium range. The packaging does looks good though.

Personally, I'd rather skip this and go for a more seasoned brand like SCS or Golden Churn. I'm just trying out Westgold butter which I hear a better butter at just under rm20 for a 250g block.

Westgold is my household butter now. Good enough at a nice price point

Farm fresh market this product as "The Butter" cos it is not 100% pure butter, as it is blended with other ingredients.
Therefore it couldn't claim to be 100% pure Butter.

Whereas Anchor 100% pure Butter is made exclusively from milk or cream or both, with or without common salt and with or without additional coloring matter and contains not less than 80% by weight of milk fat.

Where the heck you get your info from? The ingredients list on farm fresh butter says minimum 80% pasteurized cream and salt (for the salted version).

Anchor is low quality butter btw, the 82% cream is definitely questionable based on the spitting and splitting. I've had similar experience.
