QUOTE(LonelyHart16 @ Dec 26 2024, 12:18 AM) Phew, good to hear. I have said a lot of bad things about Krajan and their VIP friends, but I use encrypted whatsapp. I hope my dissident and activist friends don't expose me. Well, the upcoming regulations will change how these social medias operate. If the gomen suspect you to have some illegal stuffs going on, they can ask for information, because if these social medias don’t comply, it’ll affect their licenses. I am not sure how far the MCMC will go, but never trust anyone, especially the politicians.

QUOTE(LonelyHart16 @ Dec 25 2024, 07:37 PM) According to some "Experts", Malaysia telco routers all come with government spyware, so they can spy on your internet activities, true or not? TM, Digi, Celcom, Maxis, all got spyware inside? Meaning we should buy 3rd party routers ka? But if you have done nothing wrong, why afraid Gov spying? Right? why need to allow govt or outside ppl spy on our privacy even though we do nothing wrong.. privacy is privacy... not allow others to spy or be nosy about it...

If say China USA Israel UK, our doors all open like prostitute leg open for all the foreign spy agencies to monitor/change identity.
Kan dulu we have a CIA agent tall omputeh assasin operative? Sudah hilang, agent 007 escaped. Then Mossad have our orang kito become informants.
Then we also had a spy Queen with the pistol hnngggh but she passed away and no more news on our local MI:999.
Again back to topic, our legs are spread open toes touching the ears and those agents already masukkke ketaq and embedded inside.

Socmed companies will ask for high price from government to disclose their data. Unless you're high profile fugitive like Jho Low or Talibun leader, worth paying just for small fry to ask them to disclose the data? Those companies pledged to be secure to convince the peasants that they honor their privacy. Sikit-2 expose reputation also go bad just to catch small fry?

yes, many countries also track, not just bolehland.
Internet traffic is so easy to track. People forget that even if use VPN, VPN may not indicate where the data is from but traffic from VPN still need to be transmitted back to phone/computer...

Not really spyware, it's the ISP. When you using they services, yes they know which website you been accessing into. Similar like in company, the IT department know which website you've been accessing to when you using the company network like wifi or lan.
