I remember buying a PSP slim from Games Tower, The guy actually do not know a lot. More research may be needed. After a few days, I got problems with my PSP(not able to play some games). I guess its the memory card problem. Fake MS Duo, I guess. I tried asking the guy for help. Imagine, I had to wait for half an hour for the guy to come. I admit I came early to the shop and the shop was not open yet. But, he said that the problem is with the game is corrupted. So he put the game in again, and it work. I asked him about another game, he said the game is not stable. Weird though coz its ok with some other sellers, but not with him. After a while, I left cause I have waited for too long. Then I ask my friend to get me a FF:War of the Lions. It could not work in the PSP. Now I am feeling weird, I think the PSP's firmware had problems, thats why it couldn't run "ehem" games. I totally regret buying from the shop. Never again.

Now I have PSP from SCE, great purchase, all working perfectly. I am really happy. Further still, I asked my friend to buy from me when he went back to Malaysia coz I really want a PSP. I think that most Penang shops do not have superior quality compared to KL shops. Make sure you check the quality of service before buying. And yes, PSP in Games Master is expensive. My friend got his PS3 from Game Tech, BJ. Its working fine.

wat i can say is prefer go further and pay more to buy my console in kl,it is more trusted and stable.service those kind of nonsence is not a problem,if u buy a console tat u noe it wil get wrong oways,then y u stil wan to buy it?1 hit KO purchase is d best solution!! never and ever try penang shop until u heard tat penang island name change to KL

I've bought my PSP from ACE 2 months ago since my last post here.
Looks like PSP getting very cheap nowadays... Will consider another set if the price keeps dropping My PSP 3.90M33-2 I think, no problem so far...

Only problem is there are a few games i cannot load with the PSP giving an error message.. I brought it back to ACE after i tested it with other MSPD cards and they are playable...

ACE exchanged the memory stick without much talk.. Happy with the new card, no problem so far... Yesterday went to get component cable but looks like majority pg shops out of stock... Almost bought myself a ps2 set...

I think i'm going again this weekend for the cable and ps2... Just want to buy ps2 to play some games and keep as collection. [poor last time cannot afford] ...

Checked with GamesTower but I think i'll get them from ACE because ACE shop provide me some testing facilities such as the LCD tv where as the GamesTower they have a normal 14" TV only...

I think all come down to their budget lar..cannot afford ma...

So if anything goes wrong can only blame myself.

not looking for an argument but i think your statement is too extreme. many people bought their consoles in Penang and they are happy. Unhappy buyers exist both in Penang and KL. Good and Bad shops exist in both Penang and KL.

important thing is do some research before u buy. ask carefully on the details / warranty (research on what to ask and what to check before go to the shop) before u buy. It applies to all buyers at all shops.. Penang or KL.

haha,sorry...as it was my first time on my own $ purchasing my first console,and yet it come with problem,so is normal for me to act over extreme...i alredi done alot of servey,but not as much as knowing those smal smal thing that ned to consider also.and before that u can check from tis thread,many ppl recommend me to buy fr Mario,many gd suggestion they give and they fully support d shop.after i buy and shw them d problem,suddenly al of them disappear fr tis tread.(feel tat been cheated ad).so tis is y i lose confidence to penang shop as it not giving gd imej for me.(juz my opinion)

How about modded Xbox360 Elite? I just casually asked Game Monster (the shop in Qbay opposite Harvey Norman) and was quoted RM 1799 (1 controller + 10 JS games). Btw, just some feedback on the Game Monster shop, the owner is quite friendly and offers some good advice imo.

Any owners of the newer batch of modded Xbox 360 Elite faced any 3rod problem? If the problem still continues I think I have to drop the Xbox from my consideration list already.
