You can install Windows and run it from there if you want to...

I've just installed the 2G RAM I bought yesterday. So far so good. Boot up time is same as before....

Am now running Rember to test it. Hopefully everything is ok. :-)

Added on December 2, 2007, 3:44 amJust finished running the tests by Rember and Apple Hardware Test. No error detected. So I suppose I don't have to worry about Kernel Panic or random restart?



I tried to run many applications to test the system. No lagging at all.




I can also switch between spaces smoothly.



All in all, I am quite pleased with the performance of my MB now. And I hope the newly installed RAM won't cause any problem in the future.

my sanyo HD1000 video cam, record in full HD 1080i resolutions in mp4 format.
can macbook or macbook pro view and edit (iMovie) in full hd mp4 format?
If cannot, have to convert to other format, i guess will loose some resolutions..right?

Can macbook do the simple video editing jobs,... or do i need MBP .... significantly more cost...

care to share what RAM you purchased and what brand what model to be precise ?
how much it costs you for that 1-piece 2GB ?

I use Kingston Value RAM as recommended by other forumers.

It's S$69 per stick.

I run Rember again and quit all the applications including Finder. But damn, now my shortcut keys are no longer working.
I can't adjust the brightness using F1 and F2 keys, the media keys are also not working.
Any idea how can I restore the functions?

can i use any mouse other than mighty mouse to use with macbook?
or only mighty mouse will work on mac.

They're regular USB devices and will work with Windows, OSX, Linux, Solaris etc. I've used the Mighty Mouse on Windows and have used various USB mice on OSX without problems.

my friend told me... better to buy during christmass cos they will give freebies...
