whats so special about the targus bag?

is it supposed to be very expensive that it seems like a good deal if it comes free now?

or is the design nice?

i havent seen one and im not sure what it should be attractive as a free gift.

ooh i finally got my macbook 2.0 ghz.. its a good start to something great.. next step, macbook pro.

1 GB Ram, 2.2GHz Mac OS X 10.5.1
few application lag on this computer !
eg. skype, firefox, neo office will happened but !!
when i typeing chinese word too fast for replied post, it will lag and i hv to choose force quit to the broswer !!
typing english will be happen on it also =.=ll ........ lag around 2 min like tat !!!

if application lag, it will take around 5min somtime ...='=''

the targus bag is worth RM299... so u decide la..want or not...

Is the bag really worth 299? I don't know, but it does save a hell lot of time and money to find another one. As far as I know, Targus backpacks are never cheap.

is other apps still active when this happens? if yes, maybe you can open up the Activity Monitor from your <system drive> \ applications \ utilities when you run the problematic apps. try to show all processes when you run activity monitor, so when it happens you can see which processor is taking all your processing cycles or you might find that you have abnormal ram usage or disk activity...

have you seen the bag?? is it the pulse II targus bag? that thing is so bulky.. looks like a luggage, and ugly also. you don't want to be seen carrying that bag around..

How do you guys use your notebook? As in how to manage the battery? Or you guys just plug in the power cable 24/7 with the battery in. I heard there may be some problems if I overcharge it. How true is that?

For me, i just plug in the power cable. No harm btw.

Apple has a page with battery tips. Google for it.

One good suggestion I've read elsewhere is to buy a laptop cooler for your desk when you have it plugged in.

According to the site, the targus bag is only for the 2.2ghz MacBook white/black only, erm...

anybody uses Protector film for MacBook LCD only ?
where can I actually get it ?

bro...friends you can get it at machines...they sell it at RM 130-140.....quite expensive

i already got the protector films for my MacBook, but it does not come along with the LCD part.... all parts now covered !

actually those protector films are quite hard to stick it on the MacBook... it took me more than 2 hours to do so.
