QUOTE(BlueHeng @ Dec 27 2007, 11:18 PM) currently i'm only putting the bottle in for my gerbil twice a day for them to drink then i'll remove it after 10 mins. No time to make the cage these days. They should be fine right? an idea..you might put some fresh carrot or sengkuang as a food and water supply for them.. as usual i do when i intro my gerbils.. who ever stays in the split cage, i'll supply them carrot or sengkuang.. |

The bottle for 10 minutes twice a day is ok. Gerbils are still desert animals, they can tolerate long hours without water. But do provide some leafy veggies too.

One of my sakais died yesterday. Found him dead in a sleeping style. He was active as usual a day before. Didn't know the reason of death. He's not even a year old.
RIP Bengy.. |

It could be heart attack, stroke, some internal organ failed..... at least Bengy had a good home. RIP to him. |

Heat the nail or screwdriver over the stove until it's hot enough and burn a hole. is delikate bedding okay for gerbils? and how to i make holes in my plastic tank for the water bottle, if i dont have any drilling thingy? i went to pets family in klang and i dont think they have sand bath. can i get everything that gerbils need in pet safari, ikano? thanks a bunch!! Pets family you mean at taman megah? The other day ( a week ago) I just saw the delikate snowy sand bath there. You can use that. Pet safari can get almost anything.. however imo, the price there a bit high. Hahah.. since I stay near the pets family i buy most of my stuff from there. Get membership card can get more dc. |

i just realised... after putting 2 inches of bedding.. the hole for my water bottle is too low and might wet the hay. or the gerbils are too tall to drink from it. HOW???????? help!
and nezu also told me that i should feed them with an aroma burner. is this an aroma burner? if no, can someone show me what an aroma burner is? ![]() This post has been edited by matt_1712: Dec 31 2007, 07:34 PM |
