How to check American Express Gold Credit Card Membership Rewards points ?

It shows as TreatPoints in my Maybank2u page instead of Membership Point la.

any idea?

Yes, maybank combine treat point with membership point.

I have Amex Gold CC and Visa Petronas, I can see points for both cards are separated in M2U.

They are different. You can't combine TPs and MR points.

Maybank --> TPs
Amex --> MR points

You also can't use TPs to redeem items in MR catalogue or use MR points for TP reward programme.

Both points, but two cards points are combine together.

Me too...I have Petronas CC and also Amex CC, they all combine together. That is why i am so confuse on the point system.

For points belong to Amex Gold, I regard it as MR points.

Even though you only see TPs in M2U, TPs and MR points are 2 different entities in reality. Therefore, they can't be combined for gift redemption. Given increasing number of Amex users, I guess MBB will update its system in the near future to avoid confusion.

How about MR from charge card? Can I combine with MR from AMEX CC?

Spoken to Amex CS last 2 weeks on the Prestige Platinum Card by Shangri-La Hotel that supposed to be delivered on top of my new Amex Plat Credit Card. According to them, Shangri-La does not issue anymore Prestige Plat to new Amex Plat members. Members need to flash and pay using their Amex Plat Credit Card to enjoy those dining and hotel discounts and benefits. But today, I received a courier from Shangri-La on the Prestige Plat Card with discounts vouchers. The card is red in color and valid only one year. Another added benefit on top of the 1st year annual fee waiver on the Plat Credit Card.

Absolutely no problems at all. As long as they are MR points, all MR points from your different Amex cards (charge card + cc) can be combined for redemption.

I have called to the card centre and personally visited to the branch. But the answer is so...

Card centre told me that this is due to not yet reach statement date, system can't authorised it. It only be authorised when it comes to the statement date.

But what I get from the branch, they told me that this is because the new card is still not yet link to M2U.. ...

What can I do now?

Is your Amex Plat cc a brand new card? If it has just been approved and has not been sent to you yet, this situation could happen. I guess the card has been approved in principle but the approving process has not been fully completed yet. You should patiently wait for a few more days until you receive the card.
