I dont think there is any problem for clicking part. I see some youtubers kinda struggling to even scroll the shutter to exact function without the case using one hand, lol. Probably there is a sensivity adjustment in the phone i guess.

Just to add, if I wanted anything other than a point and shoot camera/video, I would have gotten a Sony a7Iv… oh wait, I already have a Sony a7Iv….

Hey bros…. Sorrry for stupid question.

Normally after a new iPhone launch, apple discontinues selling the older gen pro phone.

How about switch/machines yea? Will they be clearing their stock for some time? Or they will stop selling the older gen pro phones on the dot on 20 Sep?
*
Yeah, they'll keep selling them while stocks last. But the discounts won't be a lot. Buy online if you can, prices are a bit crazy this year.

RM2924.29 for an ip15pm 256GB or RM3124.29 if Shopee coins are not useful for you.

At this price, I can trade-in my ip13p for RM1900 and use that RM1900 towards the ip15pm for my kid instead of passing down the ip13p to her. So just RM1024.39 for an ip15pm. Of course, full price for the ip16pm.

Maybe not used to it yet. And after some fine tuning, Apple should get the sensitivity right. nod.gif

To be honest, i wonder how well will the camera shutter button work with a thicker casing... hmm.gif
Hopefully 17 will have a complete redesign. Maybe thinner iphone 17 air or a foldable?  thumbup.gif

I think Apple's and more expensive ones will have glass or crystal where the Camera Control button will be.

The cheaper cases will probably have a cutout. Like the UGreen one below I bought for RM22.06 from Lazada.

On 9/9. Keep on eye on the ITWorld & Apple Flagship Store sellers. Switch, Machines & SenHeng also discounted but not so much.

8/8 also but about around RM3300. Maybe 10/10 will be cheaper if there're still stocks. 9/9 stocks all seem be to Blue Titanium only.

Oh wow I missed this deal. I have a 13PM if trade in to Apple Store can get RM2.3k. Going by that price I need to top up 800+ only 😮. Was thinking of changing the battery for 400+ on my 13PM, top up 400+ only can get new 15PM 😅

Seems like Iphone has indeed lost its mojo already. iPhone 16 series will be no different, if you read about iPhone 17 leaked details - iPhone 17 will have huge boost on the ram and processor.. and also of course the camera too  laugh.gif

By Jan next year, shall see some discount coming in for iPhone 16 series
*
If sales not good we may even see discounts like what happen to the 15 series.

QUOTE(Sitting Duck @ Sep 11 2024, 10:48 PM)
Has apple website adjusted the price for iphone 15 yet?

Planning to get iphone 15 series if the price is reduced.

Thanks.

I suggest you buy online through Lazada/Shopee. They have massive discounts during double digit sale like 9/9 10/10.
Just check out Switch, Itworld, Senheng Machines etc on lazada/switch.

It looks like the iPhone 16 and co will be a hard pass for me. I’ll max out my 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and take a look when 17 comes around… but I’m going back to getting the dual SIM card version from HK like I did for my 14 Pro.

The 15 Pro and Pro Max were because I gave into temptation at the huge 30% mark down that SQ (Singapore Airlines) were giving on their website… but those were Singapore models with the single SIM slot only, and now I have to lug around 2 phones again…

I was hoping to upgrade to a dual Sim 16 but…. Yeah, hard pass.
*
Hahaha convert 1 of your sim to esim so no need to carry 2 phones.

yes. Nowadays more and more telcos offer eSIM already. I have both my nos on eSIM now so my physical sim slot is technically free.

I would find that iPhone with both physical and esim slots are better than two physical sims slot iPhones. 🤪

I’m looking to trade in my old iPhone thru Machines or Switch since offered a higher trade-in value, but it's pain in the arse I can't transfer data from my old iPhone using Quick Start.

Considering there's plenty apps needs re-verification and so, might as well just trade in via Apple then. hmm.gif

depending on your regular/past usage?

for me, usually 256gb more than enough, 128 then a bit difficult..
i regularly import my iPhone photo and video into my Mac, then delete videos off, usually keeping most of the pic because they aren't very big in the first place.

if i need more space for video or storing offline contents, I plug in my portable nvme drive via the usb C

Not enough. I personally know how to restore data from a wiped iPhone. As long as it is newly wipe.

only if u are buying this iphone as ur first iphone and u have no previous old photos/videos to transfer over...

else 256gb is unlikely to be sufficient... it will also limit the amount of videos/photos u can take at one time...
i would think that 512gb is the minimum one should get it...

but good thing is that now iphone pro series all come with 256gb as the starting storage option so no limitation that u cannot do certain thing with 128gb version in iphone 14 pro series...
