Care to share more why hoda better than spigen? I have always used spigen and thinking if need to change. I even stocked up on the SP from them.

I use the one below to be exact:
https://www.spigen.com/products/iphone-14-s...nsor-protection
*
i also use spigen from X until 14 series
last year 15 pro thinner bezel, spigen black border overlap more serious than hoda from my comparison, near to ther bezel edge is blocked, i am not sure wheter they have fix it or not

and then hoda after almost a year i dont see any scatch whenteby i use to spigen will have some noticeable scatch, very minor i would say only visible under light

spigen is cheaper cause i use to buy twin pack

both have dust free installer now so in term of price spigen have some advantages

but ever since last year experience with my 15p that spigen blocked the bezel edge i am not going back to spigen as for now

if you like frameless sp without black border then spigen can be still fine

Haven't traded in before but I believe Machines' and Switch's trade-in is higher than Apple's. Went through the motions of an apple.com trade-in and was offered RM1900 for my ip13p 256GB.

Private sale is always better. Just wait a bit for the fallout from Lazada's/Shopee's crazy 9/9 prices to die down a bit.

1150 for 11pm on machines and apple.com

but yeah the newer devices have better value at machines

Err.. 15 Pro Max which was supposed to be lightest Pro Max is 221g... 16 Pro Max is 227g and with a 0.2" larger screen than 15PM.
I think it is reasonable.

I think the hype and frenzy is very lacking for this 16 Pro series. But my guts is still telling me it will be a huge queue on the 20/9 at TRX. Even bigger than the opening day laugh.gif hmm.gif

iPhone 16 new camera button seems to be designed for landscape use. Good luck holding the phone securely in portrait mode if you want to use that.

And it seems like it's only for right handed people? Lol
*
Have u seen any camera that catered for left handed ppl. Lol

Hey bros…. Sorrry for stupid question.

Normally after a new iPhone launch, apple discontinues selling the older gen pro phone.

How about switch/machines yea? Will they be clearing their stock for some time? Or they will stop selling the older gen pro phones on the dot on 20 Sep?

Sadly, this is how I feel as well… the great unveiling was in fact quite underwhelming to be honest.

Neither is a phone cater for right handed. tongue.gif

A phone doesn't need to cater for left or right handed but it should be designed so can be used comfortably whether a user using left or right hand as primary hand holding the phone and controlling most of the functions.

Seems like Iphone has indeed lost its mojo already. iPhone 16 series will be no different, if you read about iPhone 17 leaked details - iPhone 17 will have huge boost on the ram and processor.. and also of course the camera too laugh.gif

By Jan next year, shall see some discount coming in for iPhone 16 series

Well, the 16 series is for those with 11/12 and probably the 13 anyways. For those coming from 15 or even 14 definitely will feel very underwhelming.

But I do agree that the improvements are getting more and more marginal (aside from the AI hype and features).

To be honest, i wonder how well will the camera shutter button work with a thicker casing... hmm.gif

Hopefully 17 will have a complete redesign. Maybe thinner iphone 17 air or a foldable? thumbup.gif

Yep, even though I am using 11 and XR, I still feel somewhat reluctant to change

My biggest turnoff is the 8gb RAM and also the rumored 25w - 40w wired charging

Damn, if its really 25w then its really disappointing to me tbh

The rest is good enough for me to change

Just this 8gb and 25w wired charging

Based on the so called "rumour" roadmap, they are indeed behind schedule. Hopefully, next year iPhone will be under panel Face ID + Hole. That may excite some of us biggrin.gif

Has apple website adjusted the price for iphone 15 yet?

Planning to get iphone 15 series if the price is reduced.

Depends on how well it sells during launch. If sales is not good, I'm predicting discounts coming in very soon maybe a month or 2 after launch.

The usual big cutout in the casing for you to click the camera shutter button.

It looks like the iPhone 16 and co will be a hard pass for me. I’ll max out my 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and take a look when 17 comes around… but I’m going back to getting the dual SIM card version from HK like I did for my 14 Pro.

The 15 Pro and Pro Max were because I gave into temptation at the huge 30% mark down that SQ (Singapore Airlines) were giving on their website… but those were Singapore models with the single SIM slot only, and now I have to lug around 2 phones again…

I was hoping to upgrade to a dual Sim 16 but…. Yeah, hard pass.

I dont think there is any problem for clicking part. I see some youtubers kinda struggling to even scroll the shutter to exact function without the case using one hand, lol. Probably there is a sensivity adjustment in the phone i guess.
