If you want to slack off, paint a displacement map onto the tyre! Saves you effort. biggrin.gif

@LOSD
Nice stuff!
Realism is easy: Experiment with the Tone mapping settings in vRay. NEVER ever put people in a final scene (final =/= client pic) where you wanna show your chops. biggrin.gif Use high resolution textures with Color/Diffuse, Bump and Specular maps and don't overdo the bump.

That's it! (2 hours more work tongue.gif)

Hi, onscreen and sinan3d

I didn't use any other plugin except mental ray that comes with 3dmax
Actually i got install VRAY and vray output better image in faster and simple setting
mental ray need much more adjustments n settings.

This is my latest rendering after 1 n half days studying wadafak is HDRI (it makes me headache n sleepy yawn.gif )

3Dmax9
Mental ray 3.5

THanks LOSD
I like ur interior scene especially the red one
to be honest, everytime i do interior scene, my object sure out of scale..
but u did it well

EDIT:
This is the final version for today. Really tired sometimes when doing 3D.. duh..
My objective in this picture is to create a combination feel of japanese,western and chinese
