Most will be fussy if they suspect improper claims… or if they can’t go after the 3rd party (ie the tree)Insurance issue - Adjuster ignoring me

Well photos or not, if want to claim motor insurance due to accident, must always have police report and their investigation result no? How the adjuster sus your circumstances of loss also got to follow the investigation report.
So do you have that? |

How the adjuster sus your circumstances of loss also got to follow the investigation report. Contrary to popular beliefs, for accident not involving 3rd party does not really need a police report. So do you have that? Ofcourse having one could be better, although it does not guarantee no fraud. Say if i think my car need some "repairs" but i dont wish to self pay so i purposely fake accident (really flip my car or purposely bang tree) so why would i be afraid to make a police report? I can just say i thought i saw a dog ran by so i avoid it and bang tree. Police report only needed if accident with 3rd party to determine whose at fault, who claiming who. In TS case is self accident so claiming own insurance usually should not be an issue. I really wonder why insurer suspect fraud. It could be suspicious if the car owner consistently get accidently every year or few times a year. |

Did the insurance company give you an official reputation later?
If no, means they don't have sufficient evidence to proof fraud and is using delaying tactic If that is the case, threaten to escalate to OFS to get them to decide whether to or not to pay This post has been edited by loui: Jun 22 2024, 12:55 AM |

Agree. If no, means they don't have sufficient evidence to proof fraud and is using delaying tactic If that is the case, threaten to escalate to OFS to get them to decide whether to or not to pay Where does document tnc says you need a video cam as evidence. Or photos only by the driver who was in a shocked mode and didn't know where her handphone was. Or the object hit should have 80% damages to it to be considered an accident. There's injuries, photos, police report and have filed accordingly. I think that's sufficient to submit for claim. It's bs I smell from this insurance. dest9116 liked this post

Refer to police report. If false can end up in prison for fraud.
