Hi, can anyone help with this situation?

On April 20th, my wife had an accident where she swerved to avoid a cat and hit a tree. She was very nervous and didn’t take any photos at the time. A nearby family heard the crash and came out to help her.

The car was sent to the official Honda Workshop for repairs. The insurance adjuster gave an initial quote but seemed suspicious of our claim. They sent a third-party adjuster to interview us on May 15th, saying there’s no proof the accident happened where we said. They mentioned the lack of brake marks and the tree not being damaged as reasons for their suspicion.

I have provided some evidence, like call logs, a notification from Honda saying the airbag deployed, trip logs showing the accident location, and invited the helpful family to confirm this.

Since then, the adjuster has not replied, and today is June 21st. I’ve called the Insurance multiple times, but they say they’re still waiting on the adjuster. I've also tried contacting the adjuster directly several times but haven't received any response or callbacks.

So what can I do... It's being 2 months now since the accident..

Adjuster usually does not deal or liaise with car owner.
Its very strange.

That's beside the point. We don't need to know if the pokok is thin or thick or it has collapsed or not.

1) any evidence to show the car banged the tree? Photos?
2) any police report?
3) the neighbours who came to your sister's aid can be witnesses. Also liberty insurance would also reached out to them too.
4) how much is the damage? The claims cost? Total damage?

Information!

Add on do stop contacting the adjuster. He has no reason to keep communications with you ya.

I wonder why insurer suspect fraud.

Normally accident i dont take photo on the spot also. Just directly drive to station only if still can drive.

Well photos or not, if want to claim motor insurance due to accident, must always have police report and their investigation result no? How the adjuster sus your circumstances of loss also got to follow the investigation report.

So do you have that?

Contrary to popular beliefs, for accident not involving 3rd party does not really need a police report.
Ofcourse having one could be better, although it does not guarantee no fraud.
Say if i think my car need some "repairs" but i dont wish to self pay so i purposely fake accident (really flip my car or purposely bang tree) so why would i be afraid to make a police report? I can just say i thought i saw a dog ran by so i avoid it and bang tree.

Police report only needed if accident with 3rd party to determine whose at fault, who claiming who.

In TS case is self accident so claiming own insurance usually should not be an issue.
I really wonder why insurer suspect fraud.

It could be suspicious if the car owner consistently get accidently every year or few times a year.
