Starting out as a freshie (private clinic) you will have months of very low patient numbers to the point you'll be bored as fuck but as your patient list grows so do your referrals from these patients. That's why those very old dirty clinics seem to be getting alot of pts vs those Cafe looking ones.

Also I notice alot of clinics that look more like cafés being opened in kuching. Like 80% of their capital went into interior design. I miss those old school clinics with tiles everywhere. You get a bleeding patient it's easy to clean. Try getting blood off your wood panels.

To doctors out there that open your own clinic, how do you stay competitive and relevant with other clinics out there?

Example in Setia Alam, Shah Alam. We have tons of clinics in old part Setia Alam and in new area, which is Setia Taipan

I'm as a customer sometimes don't know which one to choose. My company medical can use in tons of clinics out there.

As a young guy, I end up choose popular chain clinics such as Klinik Mediviron, Poliklink Lourdes instead of choosing to go to Klinik Dr Razila, Klinik Dr  Tan etc etc

I feel that I trust more brand that have branch in different places instead of going to the clinic that I mentioned above.

ItHow about u all? How do u choose your clinic? Or you will simply go any clinic to get the medicine and consultation? 

i am friends with a couple who opened a private klinik. at first they were doing ok when they were the only klinik in the area. but then a bigger chain clinic opened and it was panel for many companies. my friends klinik lost out and can see them struggling to maintain their klinik now. i think their life is being supported by the wife working at klinik kesihatan during the day and working at their klinik at night.
