To doctors out there that open your own clinic, how do you stay competitive and relevant with other clinics out there?

Example in Setia Alam, Shah Alam. We have tons of clinics in old part Setia Alam and in new area, which is Setia Taipan

I'm as a customer sometimes don't know which one to choose. My company medical can use in tons of clinics out there.

As a young guy, I end up choose popular chain clinics such as Klinik Mediviron, Poliklink Lourdes instead of choosing to go to Klinik Dr Razila, Klinik Dr Tan etc etc

I feel that I trust more brand that have branch in different places instead of going to the clinic that I mentioned above.

ItHow about u all? How do u choose your clinic? Or you will simply go any clinic to get the medicine and consultation?

From my experience. Is best to check the Google reviews first and see which clinic got the most star

Usually there will be a Dr there that is very good with patients. So try to see that particular Dr.

Doesn't matter if it's chain or not. Chain doesn't mean good. It's the Dr that makes it great

So anyway, most clinics survive through panel patients. Those on chronic medications, will come and take their usual supply which is sponsor by their own company

i go clinic mainly to get MC only, so whichever have the lowest waiting time would be the best.

common fever, flu, sore throat, any GP can diagnose it correctly.

you will need to be very terrible to get it wrong.

i would definitely boycott any GP that die die dowan give MC, but i haven't met one so far.

Doctors yang sudah in practice for long, have their own loyal followers.

Macam the Klinik Tan in Seremban. From father passed to son, now still everyday full, patients willing to wait hours just for panadol & cough mixture.

my place got one clinic charge only rm 20 or 30 per consultation...

so many old folks like to go there

The real question is, how can bad clinics stay in business for so long??

Never say no when patients ask for MC

When patients ask for MC, the only question the doctor asks is "how many days?" owai.

I miss those clinic that still give prescription in the square bottle without brand

Your own neighborhood, get to know the local doctors lah. Anyone you particularly like, just stick with that doctor. Later that doctor more familiar with your own personal medical history also good.

I only go to my fav docs, wherever he/she attach too

small pekan now got locums, no necessarily the same good old docs who will treat you

Some patients feel shy to ask for MC

There are some doctors that proactive and ask patient whether want to take mc or not

I avoid those who like to potong leher when selling their medication...Macam cough...I can go pharmacy and buy a bottle of syrup for RM9 or RM10. If they tried to charge me RM20 or more, then no more next time...

I pick the one that's fastest... and If all clinics are empty, I pick the one that most friendly..

Franchise will not even bother to check what happen. Just ask then give u medicine
