I heard a rumour that Tan Sri LKY might attend the forum hold by MSWG, would that be true hmm.gif ? Not sure what would happen on that day, very interesting.

Update :
MSWG will not allow this as it is a forum for Minority investors. Tan Sri LKY has other platforms to engage us.

This CHGS fiasco is a reminder to all to be wary of similar schemes in the market. I always look at the ultimate person responsible and Tan Sri LKY's reputation just does not cut it for me. Those who follow his business expolits will know what I am referring to. The age old saying - a leopard never changes its spots- comes to mind. I hope the authorities comes down hard on the management for this is a clear breach of contract. Stay strong people!

I read LKY latest letter in chgs.com.my. There is a cost of Acquistion of Lahad Datu Estate 19.7mil. This estate profit should share with all the grower since they use our money to buy it and they never mention the current value of Lahad Datu estate.

With his experience, I doubt he will make such "breach of contract" mistakes. He has a whole legal department full of lawyers to study, plan, and execute his plan for him. The proposal papers, what to present to the growers, which consultant he pick to advise the minority growers (and what the consultant writes in his report), when to send the proposal, what date to hold the meeting, who will be the chairman of the meeting, who will be his proxy, how many votes he has to vote in the meeting, right down to how many security guards present at the meeting are all pre-planned.

And he and his team of staff who draw high salaries will make sure everything in this exercise will be in accordance to the law and contract.

The only uncertainty to him is the number of votes that will go against him during the meeting

Show him for once, money cannot buy everything ! thumbup.gif

Unfortunately not all people hold strong to principle. It is difficult for those especially chinese to attend this meeting which purposely hold it before chinese new year eve. Besides that,All growers are not rich.. they run out of this for this meeting especially those living far away from KL.

When my dad told me about this scheme, I did a quick background check on the mastermind behind the show and advised my dad not to invest. but some time later, i found out he invested quietly anyhow...

http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...30&sec=business

where the company has asked for termination of a previously launched scheme

Just tot everyone should know

Why the inconsistency? Was this done intentionally?

http://bursastocktalk.blogspot.com/2013/02...scheme-why.html

In the Country Heights Grower Scheme prospectus dated 8 June 2012, they include the financial statement of the management company, which showed the company has been profitable since 2007 (see page 38 of the prospectus)

However, when it comes to the proposed voluntary termination of the scheme, Gua Musang plantation account, which is less impressive was used instead.

Why the inconsistency? One is to attract investors and the other is for the termination the scheme. But for the same scheme, why different accounts were used? Good if Tan Sri can explain this to the growers.

Hi, The Edge's latest issue featured CHGS as cover story and Tan Sri LKY explained why he wanted to terminate.

But it also highlighted certain issues:-
1. Why was the money used to buy the Lahad Datu land? Can the profit from that land be paid out as dividends?
2. Why did the management company - Plentiful Gold, lend RM80 million to the holding company, Bee Garden? Can it be returned to pay as dividends?
3. Under the SSM guideline, all growers must be present to vote. Why only 3/4 according to the circular?
4. Why was the accounts not audited since 2011?
5. Why the trustee did not inform the growers earlier if yield was so bad?
6. What is the actual yield in 2012?
7. Why was plots from the 30% reserve sold?
8. Why the SSM guideline was only formed in 2010 after CHGS was formed in 2007?
9. What is the accreage in Lahad Datu?

Hope Tan Sri LKY can explain all this on Feb 8.

Thank you ECHO!
Tan Sri Lee has Plentiful issues to answer. He may however choose to stick to his gun and go ahead with the EGM on Feb-8.

We want him to show us PGCB and Bee Garden balance sheets.
Is the current Trustee can be trusted to do their proper duty with diligence and care?

GOOD JOB, HPCP

After almost sold all his plots and left with just 8 plots and announced want to close shop.

If rich taikoon like him only got 8 plots left, sure got something wrong one.

WOI, Tan SRI LKY...I know you are reading in this forum. WHY IS THE ACCOUNT IS SO MUCH DIFFERENT????? you do COOKing?

Please Speak UP, what is your clear intention when you initially start this "INVEST IN CERTAINTY" or "MONEY DROP FROM THE SKY" scheme. Please explain to all the disgruntled GROWERS ASAP.

Only left a few days more is CNY and we have to postpone "balik kampung" just to attend your closing shop meeting. You got "heart" or not?

Make sure you pay our hard-earned money ASAP and not in 2 years time. Pay with your pocket money 1st and you wait for 2 years, not we the Growers wait for 2 years.

Do whatever lawful that is needed against this unhealthy corporate exercise.

GOOD news!  Minority Shareholders Watchgroup Group (MSWG) has given permission to use their office address for Growers to send in their signed proxy forms.

Her office and mailing address is:

MSWG
11th floor, Bangunan KWSP
No. 3, Changkat Raja Chulan
Off Jalan Raja Chulan
50200 Kuala Lumpur

Phone:603 2070 9090
Fax: 603 2070 9107
Email: watchdog@mswg.org.my
Website: www.mswg.org.my

Please send early to them today! No more time, must be lodged with CHGS by 6-Feb early morning. No need to send in proxy form if you can attend.

Please fill in your own particulars at the top.  Ensure you and a witness have sign at the bottom together.  The witness must write his/her name and IC no.
For Joint accounts holders, everyone must sign as per the application form.
Leave the proxy name and particulars blank.  We have a group of Growers to be your proxy.

Derrick Teoh has suggested on FB to use 1 proxy form for 1 Grower's Plot.
