Hi, The Edge's latest issue featured CHGS as cover story and Tan Sri LKY explained why he wanted to terminate.
But it also highlighted certain issues:-
1. Why was the money used to buy the Lahad Datu land? Can the profit from that land be paid out as dividends?
2. Why did the management company - Plentiful Gold, lend RM80 million to the holding company, Bee Garden? Can it be returned to pay as dividends?
3. Under the SSM guideline, all growers must be present to vote. Why only 3/4 according to the circular?
4. Why was the accounts not audited since 2011?
5. Why the trustee did not inform the growers earlier if yield was so bad?
6. What is the actual yield in 2012?
7. Why was plots from the 30% reserve sold?
8. Why the SSM guideline was only formed in 2010 after CHGS was formed in 2007?
9. What is the accreage in Lahad Datu?
Hope Tan Sri LKY can explain all this on Feb 8.
