Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)



Michael Bacall (screenplay), Edgar Wright (screenplay) & Bryan Lee O'Malley (Oni Press graphic novels) must have been heart broken/pissed off at the world and O.D. on a steady diet of Nintendo and Hong Kong Kung Fu movie!!!

Again I reiterate, there is not really any original ideas left, only a merging a collection of different themes into one movie!

This is a GREAT example of what I mean!!

The list of cameos who had made an appearance is impressive

Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Thomas Jane!!!?

Been some time since I last saw Jason Schwartzman!!

There are so many Games/Manga/Kung Fu cliches here, they are IMPOSSIBLE to list

And to top it off, this is suppose to be a teenage love story????!

Definitely NOT for everyone (Many references that people will not get) and I have to add, I'm Luving it!!

yeah...just watched it....kinda embarrassing to watch it with my family with tears running down...lucky my kids also cried with me

A Team on DVD.

Not a fan of action movies but this totally tops the genre. Really awesome stuff.

entertainin fluff. is video gaming culture that hollow? thats what i got from edgar wright's directed flick. my least fav among his others.

Shrek Forever After... hillarious as always. hahaha
overall a good movie, 8/10

For me it was better than ToyStory 3..boring....Shrek was good.

The WORST dialog I've ever experience

There is a scene what I thought Edward and Jacob is going to have a relationship!!!!!! (The DIALOG is THAT bad!!!!)

The first movie is pointless this is TWO movies from THAT!!!!

You guys would probably be wondering why I'm watching it.

If I see part one of something, I HAVE TO SEE THE OTHER PARTS AS WELL!!! (Yes, even the DAMN ROBOCOP 3!!!!!!!)

LOL i remember couple of years ago i ' tried' to watch The Twilight [2008]. i ended up downloaded wrong one, Twilight [1998]. its a bad movie, but i still feel OK (cause topless Reese Witherspoon).

and still i not watch the Pattison's one, not yet.. even i have a copy in my HD now..

Wow... imagine you watch "War of the Worlds" and then there is "War of the Worlds 2" B-Graded version (or similar to Titanic) and you have to go through such hell

ive similar behaviour.. eg watching tv series. let say the series beginning to spiral at the middle season (eg FlashFoward, Parks and Recreation etc), im content to continue watching it.

other situation. if i miss 1 episode on tv, ill keep on hold and will not watch the next episode. i feel i must watch the missed episode first than continue. even the episode not really related /sequential to each other (eg CSI)

only time and works constraint avoid me to indulge this behaviour..

Vampires Suck (2010)

I do not want to mislead readers of this thread.

This is a VERY LAME movie, on SO MANY levels.

And I have to add, I enjoyed it, because it is taking the mickey out of The Twilight Saga!!!!

I have to be honest, If I had not watched the Eclipse the day before, I would have groaned alot, whilst watching the movie.

What actually happened was I found myself chuckling alot, because I WATCHED ECLIPSE THE DAY BEFORE.
