create a suppor ticket last Saturday via LG site, until today nobody contact me yet sweat.gif

felt recently the LG support very lame, recent 2 cartridge replacement also slow by 4-5 weeks.... wonder is it business expanded, lack of workers

update on my touch panel issue

1. raise ticket in LG site 2025-08-03
2. nobody contact me until 2025-08-08
3. raise message to ceo via LG site
4. same day evening, someone call me, i miss it
5. on 2025-08-11, someone call again, same number, i answer, the person receive my message to ceo, promise will escalate my issue to technical support
6. on 2025-08-14, LG technician call me, arrange to come over and replace touch panel
7. on 2025-08-16, touch panel get replaced (<10 minutes)

summary after getting chit chat with the LG technician, any issue for subscription can directly call them sweat.gif they can assist in lodge case and get the faulty part replace

Glad that u got it fixed within 2 weeks thumbup.gif

Due to the volume of msg usually it takes some time for LG to respond and to allocate technician slot, u can get ur SA to help following up with LG too to save urself some time

Hmm.. i think my flow sensor has issue

Not sure is due to water pressure or not but main pipe water release seems normal

When i choose 120ml water release, it only hit 80ml then stopped
When i choose 250ml water release, it only hit 160ml then stopped

i have done all available things like clean the dispense head, clean the filter holes, do the inlet & outlet sterilization.
All seems cannot fix.

Try contact LG malaysia whatsapp but not sure public holiday they will reply or not.

Whatsapp me 5 minutes ago but asked me to call toll number

Strangely enough is that, ambiet flow if choose 120ml (240ml), it gives 80ml (160ml)
But if i choose Hot water 85C with 120ml, it gives 118~122ml up down
(Didn't try cold water.)

And noticed that the flow for Ambient are weaker than Hot water, hmm..

So hot sensor differ with ambient sensor ?

Last week I finally called to LG Customer Care to arrange a service technician visit and see my purifier.

Yesterday, the tech came and replaced two components inside the machine (one was the motor and the other was a temp sensor, I think), and now the water coldness is working fine. No more warm water after the 1st cup.

The CS after phone called, decided to deliver early my next RED filter (suppose to be November) as he suspect that filter might cloaked

Today the ambient 120ml become 60ml (120 >80 > 60) now
The hot water also starts decreasing volume, choose 250ml and dispense 100ml sweat.gif

Not to mention the flow also getting weak feel hmm.gif
Though the button still showing BLUE

But my region recently water super brown also, even my outside filter doesn't really filter.
Doing backwash multiple time already.

UPDATE: 24.09.2025

Good thing my local here has stock for the purple - pre-carbon filter and immediately pass to me after 23.09.2025 report.

Fast and efficient

He also told me that i'm the 7th person he delivered today in my region.
Guess the water kotor too serious recently

Don't worry bout it, LG supplies additional filters FOC as long as the customer is not abusing this

Btw i cant believe the Sarawak Water says the murky water safe to use, "naturally high organic content"

Organic content = bacteria, viruses, fish poops? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Just to comfort ppl XD

But seriously , this clog very very annoying cause my outside filter also cannot fully clean up the brown color.
Recently brush teeth those also using LG (at least no see brown) water purifier as just done some tooth/mouth surgery.

Forgot to keep some money on my cimb account and LG couldn't auto-deduct the payment. They give this sms with 14 digit numbers. How do I even transfer the payment? Cimb account do not have 14 digits. Will the LG system re-attempt auto-deduction again in the next few days?

Yes, usually LG will try again within the next few days

If u notice it's not deducted by this week, can try to call LG (1800-18-7874)

Just had my LG WD518AN installed last week

I find the water dispensing outlet is a bit too short, cant even fill up my 1L water tumbler without tilting it
would like to ask if any current users have any solutions/ready made products i can use as a platform to lift the water purifier up?
