Oh, I realize one thing.

The "fullness" of the birthday jar implies that it is now impossible to withdraw the daily interests out from the jar.

Since we are only allowed to withdraw 1 MYR at the minimum, once you withdraw RM 1.01 from the jar, you won't be able to deposit back RM 1 to effectively transfer out your 0.01 daily interest. And if you don't deposit up to the minimum magic number required to earn at least 0.01 MYR in daily interests, you are toast! You are lending money for free to BoostBank!

So, now the jar becomes some sort of a 1-month deposit at 5% p.a...

Be careful yea

unless if you already deposited (RM7,320.00-RM36.60) to that jar, you get to withdraw RM1 daily

Hmm where do you get 7320... and mind explaining the rationale behind (7320 - 36.60)?

TOS RM7,320 @ 5% pa gives you RM1 in interest daily. RM7,283.40 gives you RM0.995 aka rounded up to RM1 in interest

Locked in the sense that you cannot deposit into boost birthday jar (quota full)

You can still withdraw, just that Jars require you to withdraw at least RM1.00 and above. RM1.01, RM1.02 all permissible

I don't bother with the ledger accounting. The key thing is you must see your account figures go up by that 1,2,3,4... cents in MYR, if you use the magic numbers. And make sure you can withdraw them.

BoostBank's backend IT system is shitty so it will take them some time to tally the backend figures on their own.

As of today, all my interests are withdrawable, except the birthday jar which is full so I can't take the money out or I will lose every extra cent of interest on the remaining amount.

rko0504 the deposit/withdrawal entries are still showing. it's just you have to manually calculate the daily interest based on your balance @ 12am every day

Dont look at the ledger/ transaction history.

Check your account balance. Calculate yourself how much you earn every day.
Balance x 0.05 / 366 daily

this boost bank 5% promo very good.

giving me RM71.79 interest everyday.

really not a bad return for a place temporary parking of money.

hope they will release more >=5% jar in te future.

the feeling of everyday transferring out the interest is definitely not same as Rize once a month biggrin.gif
